Before I bust a gasket...

I have to explain and talk about WHY THE HECK DOES THIS BOTHER ME SO MUCH.

From here on in, Spoilers Galore. Serious SPOILERS GALORE for the sixth season of Supernatural. If you don't want to know,

Anyway, so I'm catching up from the weekend this morning and what do I see? Spoilers for 6. Immediately, I click and what do I find?

A DANG TRAVESTY.
That's what I find. There's a time jump (big shocker, lol) of one year ahead. I knew this would happen, counted on it, even. But this is what Dean is doing right now: he's domesticated. He works as a construction worker, drives (probably a GMC) truck, plays house with Lisa and Ben and pretends like everything is just Jim Dandy in his life. He is already lying to Lisa about from before. Won't tell her a word.

Worst thing about this The Hurt Locker appeal? The 1967 Chevy Impala, the Metallicar, the Third Winchester Brother, is under a tarp in the garage. It has not been driven in over a year. A YEAR. THAT, MY FRIENDS, IS A EFFIN' TRAVESTY AND NEEDS TO BE TAKEN CARE OF.

Sam, of course, is out and about fighting demons, Djinns, vampires and.... fairies. Yep, fairies and leprechauns. Go figure this would be the 'fairytale' season, like in Charmed. And Sam isn't talking about his time in Hell - or how he got out for that matter - until later, about mid-season.

Cas is busy playing Sheriff in Heaven. And apparently works AGAINST his BFFs the Winchester during some episodes. He doesn't even show up until later, as well.

Bobby... well, that's a bright ray of hope there. He and Crowley have an epic throwdown over his own soul. Crowley threatens with Hellhounds. Bobby threatens with his awesomeness. Guess who wins?

Introduce new characters: long-lost family members (AGAIN? REALLY?) and a whole slew of knowledge about the Campbells. Again. Like, apparently, they were the best of the best of the best, SIR, as far as hunters go. "They were killing vampires on their way over on the Mayflower."

Overall, I am really scared. I'm not sure if I want to watch the new season. I will, of course, to satisfy my own morbid curiosity. Like when you see a car wreck and you immediately slow down to look. Same principle applies here. And yes, I did just insinuate season 6 sounds like a car accident. Not taking it back, either. Not until I see something that tells me more about the season or I watch it for myself.

Yeah, that's probably the best bet right there. And watch the rest of Doctor Who tonight. I am so sucked into that show now, it's not even funny.

wtf show?, fandom: supernatural
