Can you believe it's already August? I really can't. I'm going on my weak family vacation in less than two weeks. I'm excited, sort of, but only because my cousin, Jennifer, will be there. About three years ago, my immediate family did this exact same vacation, so the only difference this time is that we'll have 2 to 3 wheelchairs to push up a very very very steep hill and I'll have a buddy to ride the roller coasters with. But I'm not at all looking forward to the Colonial Williamsburg stuff. Anyway...
This weekend is camping! I'm sad that many people ended up dropping out, and I'm sad that it will be hot. I'm really not exactly excited, I mean it should be fun, but it's not really my type of thing. We'll see how long it takes for me to start freaking out. I'd be surprised if there were no bets placed.
I cleaned my room yesterday. Everyone should be very proud. I've been stepping over heaps of stuff since Orientation ended. I even put my duvet cover back on, and my pillow case, I've been sleeping for like 2 weeks without them. Because I'm really that lazy.I even vacuumed yesterday, and hung up my mirror, corkboard, and Laurie McMillan's memo (an inside joke). I'm very proud of myself.
Super syced for Shannon tomorrow. She gets to see the ridiculousness that is my hammock.
My air conditioner seems to be up and running again, thank St. Alphonsus. (Today, August 1st is his day)
We got a new dvd at the disney store, and normally its all annoying and obnoxious songs, but this dvd includes Once Upon a Dream from Sleeping Beauty, Be Our Guest and Tale As Old As Time from B&B, and Part of Your World from LM. It still has some obnoxious songs, but those oldies make it all worth while.
Okay I'm off to bed.
