recs plz!
So, last night, I set out to make a mix CD. This is a usual thing in life, I think, and I was looking forward to it. I hadn't made a mix CD since the end of June. I sat down and looked at my itunes. And then promptly blinked a bunch because... well, there really wasn't much I hadn't put on a CD before.
Cue flailing.
So, please help. Rec me stuff. I don't care if it's old, or new, or somewhere in between. You don't have to even put links in the comments--tho that's always nice!--just tell me who I should listen to next, and why.
Be aware that the grime/hiphop/rap end of the spectrum is a giant unknown for me, and my default is to not like it. If you want to try to persuade me why I should, however, feel free! :D
