Cherry
Chapter One

Dominick d’Abreau had a nice back. He had fairly broad shoulders that tapered down into a narrow waist before swelling out into a rather toned arse. He had strong shoulder muscles, a surprising attribute for someone whose main sport was soccer, a strictly foot based activity. He was tall too, coming up just a few centimetres shy of six foot four; he was easily taller than her five foot eleven.
Now, Autumn Richards was normally not an obsessive girl. She didn’t swoon over x’s eyes or fawn over y’s appreciable physique. Autumn preferred to keep it on the short and narrow. Don’t get distracted and don’t let other things distract you. Keep your head down, your grades up and in a few short months she would graduate from her hellish high school and continue on to greener pastures.
She didn’t need him distracting her, but after a rather irritating twist of fate, and a muddled seating plan, Autumn found herself sitting behind him in Human Biology and she wanted to gouge her eyes out. It didn’t take much for her to notice him. All she had to do was look up at the whiteboard three minutes into the new seating arrangements to find herself confronted with the prettiest shoulders she had ever seen on a boy.
The first thing Autumn noticed as she raised her eyes was the thick, dark hair gracing his head. The thick, longish strands curled around his ears and his collar, the dark air appearing even darker against the crisp cotton blend of his shirt. The whiteboard behind him reflected the bright lights above him and it seemed to shine an ethereal white light on him.
He was beautiful from behind (with a beautiful behind) and Autumn had to resist the incredible urge to slam her head into her desk to try and knock some much needed sense into herself. She took a deep breath and tilted her head to the side, to read from the board, her pen poised above the pristine pages of her notebook. She squinted at the board, the glare catching her off guard as she tried to read the teachers somewhat messy script.
"Hey Autumn." Autumn started violently as Dominick swung around in his seat to face her. She blinked rapidly as she was suddenly confronted with his face rather than his broad, well-muscled shoulders and dark, somewhat curled hair.
"Yes?" She asked cautiously as he watched her with bright, blue eyes.
"Can you still see the board?" He asked her politely, bringing a hand up to brush his hair out of his face.
"Yes." She answered shortly as she watched the dark blue wool of his jumper slide up his wrist a fraction.
"Are you sure?" He asked, tilting his head to the side, pursing his lips a little as he spoke. Autumn nodded and made a vague murmur of agreement as she watched his lips move. He had feminine lips, full and pout and infinitely pretty. Autumn couldn't help herself; she actually pitched her head forward to bash it against the desk. Her forehead exploded in pain, the binder of her notebook digging into her flesh.
"Are you alright?" Dominick asked, clearly perturbed as she pulled her head back.
"Temporary insanity, go away, it might be contagious." She told him seriously as Sarah McKinnon swivelled around in her seat in front of Dominick to watch them intensely.
Autumn drew her eyes over to Sarah trying not to wince as she noted the differences between them. Autumn was well aware of the difference between Sarah and herself. Autumn was your average, everyday nerd. She wasn't enormously pretty and she wasn't vain enough to spend hour after hour fixing herself up. Sarah however was different.
Much like Autumn's younger sister April, Sarah devoted copious amounts of time improving her appearance. While Autumn was of the personal opinion that no amount of time could help Sarah, she was the school's resident hottie. She wasn't amazingly pretty but a lot could be said about those who eagerly spread their legs and were loose with their affections. While Sarah was very popular among the male populace, Autumn found her simple, self-absorbed attitude irritating. When combined with her dismissive attitude towards her education and consequently low grades, Autumn found her utterly deplorable.
Dominick raised an eyebrow at her, studying her intently for awhile before turning back to the board and struck up a conversation with Sarah. Autumn sucked in a deep breath of relief. She focused on his shoulders again, the muscles bunching and moving as he spoke, waving his hands around. That was the day her obsession began. And now, three and a half weeks later and she was quickly approaching stalkerish.
Part of Autumn's intelligence came from her ability to listen with half a mind and to understand most concepts fairly easily. These abilities were a godsend, particularly during Human Biology when most of her time was spent ogling the vast blueness of Dominick's school issue sweater, especially when he moved, the muscles of his back visibly clenching.
Autumn was not an idiot. She knew that since they belonged to greatly different social circles, the possibility of the union between them was unlikely. This knowledge however didn't help her growing obsession. Autumn, mostly content with watching him from afar was comfortable with the knowledge that he didn't care about her romantically and was therefore not a threat.
This however, changed one windy Friday afternoon after an after-school tutorial. Happily making her way down the hallway, whistling a happy tune as she forced her books into her school bag. Content with the afternoons work, Autumn was too busy planning her agenda for that evening. She was too busy contemplating wether to stay in and study or go out to dinner with her sister to notice that someone was following her. It wasn't until she was roughly grabbed by the elbow and yanked into a secluded alcove between the lockers, near the drink fountain.
Autumn opened her mouth to protest as she leant against the cool metal of the bank of lockers, her eyes narrowed angrily. A warm, rough hand was clamped against her mouth, the person's fingers wrapping around her jaw to keep it shut. Autumn couldn't bite her assailant and she started violently when she discovered that it was Dominick who had her pressed up against the locker. She flushed, embarrassed as her over analytical mind began to assess their situation.
Her shoulders were pressed against the cool, metal of the lockers, her bag, shouldered appropriately, and pressed against her, pushing her stomach forward. Her thighs were pushed apart, her school issue skirt riding up her legs as Dominick pressed against her, his right knee settled between her legs while his free hand rested against the lockers near her hip, halting her escape. He watched her for a while, a recent hair cut keeping his hair out of his face. He fluttered his eyelashes prettily, the ebony fan of his lashes flickering against his skin as he sighed heavily, breathing a warm gust of air against her face.
"God, what have you done to me?" He breathed as he closed his eyes and nuzzled his face into the crook of her neck.
"I d-don't know w-what you mean." She stammered as he took a deep breath, cautiously sniffing her as he removed his hand from her mouth to stroke her hair, tugging the coloured band out to remove her ponytail. He ran his fingers through her hair, gently massaging her scalp.
"I close my eyes and I see you. I try to breathe and I'm choking on your scent. I call your name when I come and I've wanked myself raw wondering about how hot you'd be, how hot we'd be together..." He trailed off, nipping at her neck as Autumn brought her hands up to clutch at Dominick's shoulders, pulling her head back to expose more skin to him as his left hand skimmed down her back, abandoning her hair to ease her backpack off. It hit the floor with a dull thud, but Autumn's attention was elsewhere, her fingers digging into his shoulders as he pressed himself up against her, his knee pressed against the bank of lockers behind her as his thigh came to press against the crotch of her panties, her skirt pushed up her thighs to reveal her plain blue underwear. Autumn blushed, dragging a hand down the front of his chest to push her skirt down.
"Don't." He pleaded bringing both his hands up to untuck her shirt tails from her skirt, forcing his hands underneath both the warm woollen sweater and the soft cotton of her white oxford. His hands were burning hot, skimming across her skin, leaving a trail of fire behind as he cupped her breasts over her bra. She blushed again, his rather large hands easily encompassing her rather small breasts, his thumb skimming over the area between her bra and her skin.
Dominick slide himself forward, his hip pressing against her abdomen as she subconsciously clenched her legs around his thigh. She moaned wantonly, the feel of his firm upper thigh between her legs exciting her. She was panting heavily, sounding like a seasoned pro as Dominick kissed her neck, the stiff collar of her shirt brushing against her skin. The movement caused her tie to tighten and she reached up to loosen it, her collar coming apart as Dominick gave her breasts a firm, experimental squeeze.
Autumn moaned loudly in response, moving her hips against Dominick's thigh. He slid a hand down her stomach as he nosed his way to the base of her neck his teeth latching onto the sensitive skin there as he laved his tongue over her super-sensitive flesh. His hand came down to her hip as he began to move his thigh against the rapidly dampening crotch of her panties as he continued to suck at her skin.
Dominick pulled away from her neck, leaving a wet, red love bite at the base of her neck, one hand still under her shirt, working its way between her bra and her skin. He was breathing heavily, his hip pressed against hers as he rubbed his erection against her stomach. The hot, heavy feel of his penis against her belly was foreign to her and while she was no stranger to heavy petting, this was unlike anything she had ever felt.
"Oh god." She panted as she ran her hands along the breadth of his shoulders, her fingers running over the muscles she had always admired. Her hands had a mind of their own, running her fingertips over every inch of his back that they could reach, her chest pressed against him.
"That's right, come for me sweetheart." He begged breathlessly into her hair before leaning down to press his full, feminine lips against hers. His lips were impossibly soft, his tongue coming out to take a long, single sweep across her lips. Autumn's lips parted instinctively as she continued to rub against his thigh. Tension coiled in her belly, Autumn's movements speeding up as Dominick gently coaxed her tongue out of his mouth.
"Oh god..." Autumn pulled away as something within her snapped and endorphins flooded her body relaxing her, causing to slump boneless against him. She rested her head against his shoulder, one arm wrapped around his waist as she lazily stroked his lower back. He smelt good she noted absently as she felt his erection pressed against her stomach, hard and throbbing. Autumn looked up at him through her lashes and with her usual tenacity reached forward to gently brush her fingers against his hard, rigid length.
"Oh fuck..." He muttered, his hips pushing forward against her eager hand. Autumn's fingers found the cool metal of his belt buckle and tugged on the leather. Dominick’s hand came up to stop her, his warm fingers wrapped around her wrist.
"Where's your sister?" He asked his lips close to her ear as he continued to pant heavily. Autumn bristled, the words stung in a strangely familiar way. In the Richards family, there were two universal truths. Autumn was the academic, smart, dependable and the kind of girl you would usually find alone inside studying on a Friday night.
April was the pretty one. Unflinching beautiful, carefree and prone to long nights out with equally pretty boys. While April, exactly fifty three weeks younger than her older sibling, adored Autumn, her sister sometimes harboured ill feelings towards the younger girl. While Autumn loved her sister, she sometimes tired of being the smart one rather than fun one. But this made it worse, while many of Autumn's interests had preferred her sister over her, this situation seemed different. Wounded, Autumn pulled away from him.
"Sarah McKinnon is a nasty, spiteful bitch. Nothing's more important to her than her appearance and her pride," Dominick pulled her back, gently touching her face as he spoke, Autumn absently noting the pleasant bass-baritone he spoke with, "Your sister sassed Sarah and Sarah's hell bent on destroying your sister's pretty little face. Rumour has it that your sister tends to wait 'til all the other girls are gone before she showers after practice. It would be the perfect opportunity for some major shit to go down."
Autumn pulled away, instantly worried. She turned to leave but Dominick gently pulled her back, peeling himself off of her as he smoothed down her skirt. His hands came up to right her collar and tie before skimming down her stomach to tuck her shirt tails under the hem of her jumper. Autumn smoothed her hair down, unsure of where her hair tie was.
"Here." Dominick helped her shrug into her bag before pushing her off down the hall, his appearance still dishevelled.
"Go." He ordered as she hesitated, unsure on how to thank him.
With what she hoped was a grateful smile, Autumn turned and sprinted her way to the change rooms.
