Oh goodness yes, a million different Batmans and Supermans and no Wonder Woman? Ridunkulous. I'd also love to see Birds of Prey done, or a Black Widow spy movie, or Batgirl, or a Catwoman heist movie... or pretty much anything but yet another Batman/Superman/Spiderman redo...

I think Affleck is a very fine director and a decent actor when in the very narrow range of roles that mostly reflect the same set of characteristics. But my first thought was the "yeah an Affleck superhero movie went so well the last time around...

I didn't immediately think about the WW movie thing because it is evident that they have an eye on a JLA movie and Bale's replacement has been a large q. I am afraid that Cavil and Affleck may drag down whoever gets cast as WW alongside them. Especially in contrast to the strength of Avengers casting.

DC/Warner Brothers can't even make a good Wonder Woman comic book any more (Hopefully Morrison's upcoming Earth One Wonder Woman graphic novel will remedy this), I have ZERO hope that they can make a good Wonder Woman movie that is true to the character and lets her be a 3-dimensional person with values as oposed to merely being "bad-ass." I'd rather have no movie than a poorly made movie.

“Ben Affleck is a better actor that he’s given credit for and he’ll probably be fine but until they give me a Wonder Woman movie I am frankly out of fucks to give.”

YES. Agreed.

Also, LOVE both the links.

Warner Brothers will never make a Wonder Woman movie because they are ashamed of their comic book movies. It's evident in the (relatively) very tiny budget that they give anyone to make said comic book movies and the tiny amount of publicity they do for them. They don't care about the comic book movies. Joss Whedon, who, I think you would agree, knows something of the story, presented them with a script two or three years before he was asked to make The Avengers. They said no. He then went on to create a comic book movie so epic that it's getting a sequel AND a spin-off TV show. RDJ made $50M for that movie. He never has to make another choice on movies to make, so long as he keeps putting on the shiny red suit. Warner Brothers will *never* put that kind of faith or money into the DC franchise. Ever.
