Well.

I may or may not have mentioned that earlier in the week Ted went boldly forth and finished unpacking and organizing the office/guest room (as opposed to my office). He made the beds and put the computers back together and set up the printers and did all of that kind of stuff. This was on my birthday. He also made me breakfast and dinner on my birthday. It struck me that while I've been telling him I'd try to get rich and famous so he could be kept in the lifestyle to which he'd like to become accustomed, that in the last month particularly (since he got the cast off), he's been doing an *extremely* good job of keeping *me* in the lifestyle to which *I'd* like to become accustomed, and it's going to be a rude shock when he goes back to work. :)

Yesterday I cleaned our bathroom and finished unpacking our bedroom. For the first time since we moved here, all our boxes (except the artwork) are unpacked. It's a miracle of Gosh. We also walked to the store, and Ted mowed the lawn and went to apply for a job. I cooked dinner, and did a bunch of laundry, and made an apple crisp.

So far today I've cleaned the kitchen twice, made blueberry pancakes, a loaf of bread, a cake, walked to the store, and done two loads of laundry. Ted cleaned the living room and vaccumed the whole house.

And it's only 1pm. I can hardly wait to see what we'll do for an encore.

Actually, what we're doing for an encore is having the whole fambly come down for a day or two. We're going to go out to Fota Island tomorrow, which I think will be fun. :)

I have nothing else to say except while I'm really enjoying not writing, this morning I thought it might not be too bad to get back to it. That's a good sign.

(ETA: I spoke too soon. The encore proved to be Ted cleaning the kitty litter and the other two bathrooms while I cleaned the kitchen *again*, then swept it. The house looks great. :))
