1. Anybody who is reading this here probably doesn't notice anyway, but yes, mizkit.com is down, and because of RAMPANT STUPIDITY I am having difficulty getting it back up. Some of this stupidity is simply me just having too goddamned much to do. Some of it is not.
2. BABA YAGA'S DAUGHTER starts shipping today! Hooray! Thank you all for your patience! The book should be in your hands soon!
3. I attempted to go to a writing thing tonight, but was thwarted by bus schedules. I may have indulged in a little retail therapy to drown my disappointment. I went in for s7 Supernatural. I came out with it, s1 Downton Abbey, the entire X-Files run, We Bought A Zoo, and a 3 film Jane Austen collection. Oops. (I said to the young man behind the counter, "I came in for Supernatural. Something went terribly wrong." He said, "That happens a lot in here." I laughed and said I hoped they had a bag big enough for all the movies. He got me a bag, put everything in, looked in, and said, "Look! There's plenty of room for you to buy more things!" *laughs* Well played, kid, well played. :))
4. I'm only a day behind on NNWM now. Wiktory, I guess, except I've got to start packaging up NO DOMINION and there's no way I'm going to be writing while I'm getting that done. :/
5. I have my tickets for next year's Bon Jovi concert at Slane Castle. Woot!
thinks to do:
- succeed wildly with nnwm
- get no dominion in the mail
- try to ignore those two things being basically contradictory
- clean office
- do unholy amounts of laundry
- make a 2013 calendar
- collaborate with sister on citizenship paperwork
- write STONE’S THROE
- and some proposals so i have continuing employment
- and then finish the Walker Papers
- repaint living room
- sort & put away ALL THE BABY CLOTHES
- organize bookshelves so all the newly arrived old books can go on them
- finish ripping DVDs
- bring CDs to Chapters
