In wandering through the shops recently, looking at all the diaphanous, flowing, meant-to-be-layered and untailored fashions which looks good on the very young and sylph-like and on no one else, I found myself thinking “Forget fashion. Can’t we try *style*?”
Now I want to start a classic clothes fashion line with that tag line. “Forget fashion. Embrace style.”
Of course, as Ted said, I’d be in direct competition with J. Peterman, but that’s not the point. :)
