a second epiphany

Apr 07, 2010 17:16

I had another epiphany about SPIRIT DANCES at about 3am this morning. Sadly, it was only an epiphany which highlighted another place where I’d screwed up, rather than one which illuminated how to fix it. I’ve more or less figured out the fix over the course of the day, though, so that’s good.

Revisions currently stand at 43K of an original 60. I have to write some new material before I can drop a few chapters back in. I’m sure I’ll end up with 50K after revisions. Not sure I’ll quite have reached 60. Oh well. Anyway, hopefully I’ll finish revisions by Friday and can start striving for the end of the book on Monday. :p

In other exciting news, I think the new Doctor Who will be just fine, we decided on Monday to stop eating sweets and right now I would commit terrible acts for a cookie, and … that’s it. Not much exciting news in my life right now. :)
