I seem to be doing a Spontaneous Interactive Author Day, as I declared an #askawriter thing on Twitter, and I just got a note from the fine folks at Bitten By Books that the Inheritors’ Cycle books are being discussed today, so I’m going to hang out there to chat and answer questions, too.

Oh yeah, that reminds me I was going to mention that the short story collection you have a story in just arrived at my apartment yesterday. The Queen Awakens or something like that. :)

April. Late April has been most consistently pleasant in weather terms over the past four years, although that's saying somewhat less than I'd like it to be...

*laughs* Yeah, the whole concept is sort of a break-down-barriers thing in case there are people who would kinda like to ask but don't want to intrude, but when you've known somebody fifteen+ years... :)

Oh dear, and that reminds me that it's a few months shy of being 20 years since Catie and I met......oh dear.....

At knitting club last night, Catie, someone was making vague references to the Scotsman's "lad" who won first prize and it made me laugh, thinking of you and me and Lizard and Dean? or Kevin? or someone traipsing across the parking lot belting out the song (off-key in my case), while completely sober....

Oh yeah--with the Dermody books, is it necessary to read /The Cardinal Rule/ first, or can one figure it all out even with skipping the first one in the series?
