Having moved the futon downstairs, I’ve re-discovered how not-very-comfortable it is to actually sit in. The slant is just too great, making it difficult to get out of. Kudos to ted! How many men would think of throw pillows in any context? You lucked out kid!

Let us know if the foam rick works as we have similarly reinstated a futon as sitting object and, yeah, slant issues.

We could chock up the back legs of the futon and wait for the inevitable 'clunk' that day I sit heavily on it and knock it askew, breaking my arse in the process.

Hmm. I'll go look for foamcore, shall I?
