Lucy has decided she prefers eating with company. So she’ll chow down for a bit, but if she notices I’ve left the room, she comes looking for me. If I go back to the kitchen with her, she eats a bunch more. I am so very, very well-trained.
I went to see Star Trek for a third time today. I just love that movie. The opening scene made me cry. AGAIN. That’s three times, for God’s sake. I think the only two movies I can think of off the top of my head where the first scene is as much worth the price of admission are The Lion King and X2, which both left me breathless. Also, if you have not seen Sarah Rees Brennan’s
Star Trek parody, you are missing a treat. :)
And Ted and I went to see T4 tonight. It wasn’t bad. Better than I expected, actually, and the Ah-nold cameo was fairly awesome (mostly because they digitalized a body cast of him from the first movie and then animated it. holy crap, he was huge.), and they got Linda Hamilton to record Sarah Connor’s tapes to John, so that made me happy. Also I thought it was a reasonably good “what makes a man” story.
