(no subject)
thinks to do today:
- call UPS and find out where the hell HEART OF STONE is
- get tickets to America
- attempt to get a hotel for WFC
- get train tickets to Dublin
- get a hotel for Octocon
- make bread
- do dishes
- do laundry
- clean kitty litter
- shop, because there is nothing to eat in this house
- somehow find time to write in the midst of all that. *ded*
My author copies of HEART OF STONE have apparently been in Ireland since about the 27th of September, but UPS isn't smart enough to have called me when their address turned out to be wrong. Furthermore, apparently when they contacted Harlequin they didn't actually manage to get the new address into the system, so the books are sitting around in limbo, and now that I've called and given them the address and my phone number, they say they'll be here Monday. Even if I have my act _extremely_ together (which is rare), the copies I send out to people will just barely get there before the book hits the shelves. So annoying.
Incidentally, if I owe you a book (like PHOENIX LAW) and haven't mentioned sending it, it's because I thought I'd do all the books together at once when HoS arrived, only it hasn't arrived. *exasperated* (yet another one LJ moods doesn't have) Sigh.
I'd better go try to get some writing done before the day goes any more to hell. It's only 9:15. :p
