My net connection is *utterly* horked today. This is especially frustrating given that I'm trying to respond to colorists.
As usual, I'm pretty astounded at the talent that an ad at
digitalwebbing brings up. Once more, where I expected talented (or not) amateurs, I'm getting responses from pros and people bordering on pro-quality. It's both exciting and nerve-wracking, because it's no fun at all to look at a great colorist and say, "No way I can afford him." OTOH, it's sure worth trying.
I think I walked about 500 miles today. I went into Cobh with Ted so I could pay my artist, then walked up the hill to go look at a terraced house that's for sale that would be *so* convenient to live in. I don't know if I'd really want to live there, though. It's on the main drag, more or less, so there'd be constant traffic, and it's so crushed between everything that it just sort of looks like you wouldn't be able to breathe in it. But boy, walk down the hill and you're at the town centre, and walk up a different hill and you're at the swimming pool. That'd be nice.
*shakes the frelling net* C'mon, c'monc'mon! I want to get this show on the road!
(I did get the galleys sent off. That's good!)
