I loved those books, and yes, I'd love to read the ending of the story! Then again, I am probably not your "typical" reader, either. (I teach about polyamory and other "outside the box" topics, so sex doesn't scare me.) I am sorry to hear they were a questionable move for you, career-wise. That said, I probably wouldn't have found them if you'd changed your name, so, I guess I am glad you didn't.
Mt backstory if you care to know:
I stumbled into your work (probably in 2013-14; it was shortly after I won my iPad mini at a conference, and discovered the glory of ebook downloading) via the short story trio (another was by Mercedes Lackey) in which your work appeared. I went on to devour all the Walker Papers, and then everything else I could get my hands on through the library. I particularly enjoyed the ones about "The Old Races." Eventually I made the transition to audiobooks and haven't been looking much at ebooks (due to an eye condition requiring ointment at night.)
I have considered getting the audiobook companions to the Old Races books since going to audible format. For me, having the end of this story in audible format would be ideal. But honestly, I might go for it even in ebook format, just to get the ending. (I don't like unfinished series. *Looks meaningfully in the direction of Rothfuss...*)
So there you are. Good luck, and I hope to see more. And yes, they were better written, and you should be proud. :)
