There’s a new farmer’s market opening near here pretty soon. Part of me is actually kind of wildly considering emailing them and finding out what their booth fees are

A friend of mine is getting into the local farmers' markets here and it's a detailed jump-through-hoops, but could be very much worth it...

sounds like could be fun and having pin money in hand might make you feel better. on the other hand, will having childcare for Henry and cost of goods absorb all the income? on the other other hand, could be a fun way to meet more people? on the other other other hand, will this just make you feel all the more swamped at juggling munchkin and writing? :)

Commercial fudge is awful. :) I've been looking at the local prices for commercial fudge, though, and holy crap, if they can charge that much for wax and oil...!
