Wow it's already 2010 :o
Wow it takes me 5 months to update my LJ now:o But several things happened in the recent months that got me quite busy. First off I'm happy to say I'm working again, although I long for the lazy morning hours that I spend alone at home without being bothered by my sisters. But still it's nice to find some use to my life. In addition, I'm taking Japanese lessons. Lets just say I'm terrible at it and can't remember half the things my teacher taught. But it's fun to play pranks on the phone-although I always blow my cover within the first 2 minutes of conversation because at that point I'm in hysterics XD And to top it all, our master course have gone from bad to worse. Ethics is just a topic that should be erased from all curriculums. Enough said.
The last weekend on 2009 I spent in Dubai. Nothing interesting happened in the night of Dec 31, except I heard Dubai put in a great firework show. I slept at 9:30pm so how should I know? I woke up briefly during midnight, I heard some banging(probably the fireworks) then dozed off again. Useless, right?
These events don't usually excite me. So what a decade has past? And in two days, the tallest building in the world shall have it's grand opening...finally. Where will I be? Listening to Dr. M. babble his way through the night. I look forward to it. Really.
Morning of January 1. Wow the weather was beautiful. Within a few hours the clouds covered the sky. With the first strike of thunder...the first sign that we're in for heavy showers. It was the best way to begin a new year. We got together and made some tea with milk over charcoal outside in the rain. It was the best drink I had in weeks!
Really beautiful. We were planning on watching Sherlock Holmes today, but no one was up to it. I'm really looking forward to watching Lawabiding Citizen with mon-chan! Hopefully they will stop postponing and show it in the cinemas next weekend =]
