1. Clothes shopping with Ma when Frannie was little was a rare treat; it meant she was getting something just for her. Usually somebody in the neighborhood had hand-me-downs that were her size, or that Ma could alter pretty easily.
Best of all, she always got new shoes. And it didn't matter to her if they were stiff or uncomfortable at first, they were 100% hers, and hers alone.
2. It took a lot longer than Frannie thought it would to find just the right shoes to go with black lingerie.
3. After seeing Fraser react to Maggie (before he knew they were related of course), Frannie thought maybe she should give up on the heels and try hiking boots. But she could never find a pair cute enough, and besides, she really wasn't the outdoorsy type.
4. Frannie's favorite pair of slippers are pink, and so soft on the inside, with a sole that's just hard enough to wear outdoors. She bought them one day in the second trimester of her first pregnancy in the middle of a shopping trip, and wore them right then and there.
The comfort outweighed any looks she got.
5. The day Frannie found the outlet store with designer shoes in toddler sizes she was ecstatic. She was a firm believer in early education.

This is soooooooooo fabulous omg. ♥ I love it! I think #5 is my favourite. It's so Frannie, omg. *adores*
I am not a shoe-shopping kind of person, either, actually. I keep buying the same running shoes over and over again (in different colours!) because they are comfy and finding another pair that is sounds like a lot of effort. Hah.
