I must say for getting a tattoo in another country you are very brave! Please pleaseeeeeee see your doctor before traveling abroad.. I'm sure you're gonna have to get yellow fever shots and other things..

you should bring your drivers license too, just in case. when i went to hong kong, something was going on with the system so they needed to see my drivers license. if you wear belts, don't wear it when you fly. that'll be a pain in the ass when you're going through security and it turns the metal detector on and you'll have to take it off and then put it back on. same thing with jewelry.

I have a name tattooed on my body - though I always said I was going to be against it, now that I have it - I love it

When my father passed away 5 years ago, I wanted to get something in honor of him (as cliche as it sounds) ... about a year and a half ago I found a piece of paper he signed (took me about 3 years of looking through old files to find one) and brought it to the tattoo place. I then had his exact signature tattooed in that same spot you have on your back. It's the only tattoo I have, and I love it - it looks like my dad took a pen and autographed me. I'll have to post a picture of it sometime.

Congrats on thinking of something you really want - and have a GREAT time in Japan. I'm so jealous, I've never been anywhere that cool, just the Carribean! lol

I LOVE that tattoo, it's so cute! I have this thing with dragonflies, I LOVE them! I have dragonfly necklaces, dragonfly coasters, dragonfly pins, dragonfly wind chimes, etc - at my old job my boss used to call me "dragonfly" because I was always wearing different dragonfly necklaces, lol.. yah maybe I'm weird or obssessed, but I love them!!
