Tuesday wednesday break my heart
My first issue of hogwarts_today went up without a hitch. It was actually a lot of fun spending the day reading and looking for links. I had no idea there were so many fanartists out there and it goes without saying there are a lot of talented and thoughtful people in the Harry Potter fandom.
Here are a couple of recs worth repeating from yesterday's post.

Anyone who is a Harry Potter fan should take a look at these. I was blown away by skill and sensitivity that when into creating these drawings. Absolutely stunning. And who knew DD was so hot when he was younger?
All She Knew by marginalia [Helga Hufflepuff, Pomona Sprout, Hannah Abbott, Gen]
Fandom loves to ignore or make fun of the Hufflepuffs, which is a shame because I tend to think the Hufflepuffs are probably the best liked among the Hogwarts population. This is a lovely and moving piece of writing about three women and what it means to be a Hufflepuff.

The Good: Bella is sleeping on my lap. *loves my new kitty*
The Bad: Still going nowhere fast on my hp_springsmut assignment. I think I stared at the screen for close to an hour last night and only managed to write 30 words. *wails*
The Meh: I sent out another batch of resumes this morning. Got locked out of Monster.com twice. Have more to send out this afternoon. Why can't I just be independently wealthy? Why won't Draco marry me? Why?
