The leak. Reversathon.
So, with news of the Harry Potter spoilers hitting the mainstream media today -- the leak was the lead story in the Chicago Tribune -- I'm now more worried about getting spoiled overhearing people talk on the train than here on LJ. In fact my flist has been so polite about hiding spoilers, I'm beginning to think this is the last place I'm going to get spoiled (knock on wood). Nonetheless, I've turned on friends-only commenting and turned off my comment notifications just to be safe. I also downloaded the book, but so far have only read the first page.
The Decemberists performed a free concert this evening downtown, and we had a picnic outside and dodged the raindrops. It was great fun despite the spattering rain; it was hot enough that the rain felt good and the kids had a blast running around. The show was great too, even if the sound wasn't the best.
Then I arrived home and saw that the reversathon masterlist had been posted, and here I was wibbling that I wasn't going to have fic to post before DH. (I actually have been working on a fic for the last two days, but I've conceded defeat that it will be ready to be posted by Friday). So I'm going to point you to the reversathon post and repost it here next week when there will be more than 12 people reading their friendlists.
