springs smut recs

I have recs. These are all from hp_springsmut. I have to say my springsmut reading has been totally erratic. The problem with rare pairs is that there are so many pairings to choose from and I never know if I'm missing a great fic because the pairing itself doesn't sound interesting to me on paper. So I'm mostly picking fics to read via other people's recs or the occasional newsletter mention. I guess this is a roundabout way to say I wish people would rec more, so I know what to read. Yeah, I know I'm lazy:-)
I think my first rec illustrates my point. Who would have thought Millicent/Neville would be so appealing?
Inescapable [Neville/Millecent, NC-17]
Millicent wanted to stay uninvolved in the war. Fate decreed otherwise.
This was such a sweet story. Millicent is perfectly conceived here: tough, independent but also lonely and insecure, and Neville is Neville: shy, earnest, a soft around the middle (hee!) and surprisingly sexy. I thought the story was fantastic: romantic and even a little suspenseful.
Knight to Queen Two [Ron/Fleur, NC-17]
Ron and Fleur are two lonely adults who unexpectedly connect after their respective marriages end.
I probably wouldn't have clicked on this if I wasn't already in such a Ron mood after the triatha_ron fest, and Fleur has always been one of my favorite supporting HP players. I loved how 'grown-up' this story read, and there is a tres sexy spanking scene toward the end. My only quibble is there is too much Molly and the Burrow, but I think Molly is usually best in small doses anyway. Otherwise a charming and well-written fic.
Down the Rabbit Hole [Hermione/Twins, NC-17]
Hermione loses a bet. Fred and George have a shiny new toy. Fun is had by all.
Did I just rec three het fics in a row? What is wrong with me?;-)
This is just hot. There really is no plot involved. It's just straight porn, but *gah* what porn it is. I really wanted to be Hermione in this, and I don't generally find the twins all that appealing.
In Parts [Draco/Neville, R]
I do love Draco/Neville fics and there is so much to love about this one. First of all the writing is gorgeous. For a fic that is only about 2,000 words and is essentially a PWP, it feels way more substantial. One of the reasons why Draco/Neville works for me is that Draco can be the more insecure one, which he can't really be when he is with Harry -- there's too much at stake there, and Neville can be the solid, dependable one. I think there is justification in canon for both of those characterizations, and it works particularly well here.
