New Tablet
Today I finally received what the I ebay bid on and won... my new Graphire 3 4x5 drawing tablet!!!
I've finally started playing with it and am getting used to using it since im getting used to the pressure sensitivity... I found it lacking at first till I maxed it out but still at 512 points of articulation I'm already looking forward to getting an Intuos...
I have a tegaki account!! If you're not sure about what it is its an Oekaki-like-style blog area... its really cool because you cant just text comments.. all comments, all responses, all blogs are all art so you draw you actually have to draw... check out the main page of tegaki to see what other people are doing!
I really hope this gets me back into my art. I miss drawing. I have alot of things drawn I can scan and bring more life to.. that way I can get my photoshop skills up to par. i also downloaded and patched Corel Painter X which is really neat so far. From the look of it all the brushes are almost close to actual IRL brush strokes.. yay! I'm hoping Kim, my sensei-sama will help me out as she's an accomplished artist.
Does anyone else go to Gaia Online? Daniel if you read this its up your alley. Its like chatting, but in a anime community..
