Stuck at work again...
Well, I was SUPPOSED to have this whole day off... but I fucked uP! I thought someone was scheduled and they weren't so I helped another program out by getting an overnighter to cover there. So I am here at the house working the overnight. The heat here is fucked up too. I'm hoping that It holds up tonight so the serviceman can get in here and fix it up. It was a crazy busy weekend... I was stuck working the morning shifts on Saturday and Sunday... UGH!
The PWF show on Friday was very good in my opinion. It was a weird night, however, and it seemed like people got more banged up than usual. All of the matches were very strong. I really liked the main event of RoH/JAPW's Jay Lethal and Jason Blade. Lethal is a true professional and is tight in the ring. He and Blade clicked in there and put on a hell of a show. The fans seemed to like it and many gave it a standing ovation. I really believe we have the best locker room there is. PWF is like a big family. I say it again and again, but the whole crew makes me proud.
Blade debuted for Jim Kettner's ECWA on Saturday. Again, he did very well tagging with Scotty Charisma against The Valedictorians (Rob Eckos and an old friend of mine Billy Bax). Blade said the match was very good and the crowd was hot. I have known Blade since he was a skinny kid looking to get in the business, and now he is a superstardom-bound cockroach (LOL).
Props go to Jose Perez for dinner tonight... Sloppy Joes are soooooo over!
Since my last posting, I had a long talk with Fraggle and decided that I would not let him down and pull strings to get the time off for his wedding. I'm heading down there the week after Genesis. We'll behitting up some karaoke and an RoH show. Should be good times.
If you haven't seen Harold & Kumar go to White Castle... you need to... DAMN IS IT FUNNY!
So I'm sitting here watching American Chopper. It is 1AM and I have 6 more hours of work to go. Movies will help me stay awake. I brough The Replacements, Any Given Sunday, Deep Blue Sea, and Eurotrip. I'm hoping it stays quiet tonight... without planning for an overnight, I didn't get a nap in or anything. I will be hella-wiped when it ends.
Anyhow... I guess I'll end this posting here. I think I may do an entry in the night about my year in review... highs lows and more.
