WOW, Puppetry of the Penis and other stuff
Last night Joe and I went to see Puppetry of the Penis. Fuck I laughed and laughed. I think I laughed as much at the peoples reactions to the *gasp* dicks then the actual tricks. Gave me all sorts of weird and wonderful ideas about CBT - gawd I must need to play soon!
On the animal front, Blueberry went off to creche about a week or so ago. Arnie is coping fine, and is now flying. He is eating roughly 200grams per night in fruit, plus two milk feeds a day and any treats such as fruit juice or yogurt. I also have two baby blue tongue lizards in care, but one I suspect will die at any moment. Sammy the snake is on shed and being a royal pain in the arse.
Planning for our trip away is full steam ahead. I ordered three books from Lonely Planet last week and they are here already - Southeast Asia on a Shoestring, Thailand Handbook and Cambodia Handbook. Very good books, and although it cost me 80 odd bux, they were a very worthwhile investment, me thinks. We also put our backpacks on layby. I ended up with a Blackwolf Cedar Breaks 65ltr (black and grey) and Joe got the same but a 90ltr in Black and Red. I have been doing a lot of net research and these seem highly recommended.
Brittany has been away for a month in Melbourne seeing her Dad. Good grief I have enjoyed this break!! While I missed her a lot, I realised what a demanding brat she has become, and expect it to be worse when she gets home. She never use to be this way, and it doesn't help when she goes to visit Dad and they give her $1000 spending money for a month, plus all sorts of neat and very expensive xmas presents. The unfortunate thing is that by the time I get her straightened back out, its time to go visit Dad again.
About six months ago, when Jules and Sharn were talking about WOW all the time, I bought myself a trial version. It has always sounded appealing to me - yet another addiction. Anyway, procrastination turned into months, and the trial is still there. Recently Aaron has been on Joe's case to buy WOW so they can play. Yesterday Joe bought his copy, and installed it last night. After waiting for hours and hours for the patch to download, we had a little tour of the world of Warcrack. Fuck, I can see myself becoming addicted to this. I got one of his guest passes and set up my account. While waiting for my patch to download, I went off to EB and bought myself the game and a 60 day pass. So now I have 100 days for 60 bux. Keep an eye out for this space, Warcrack fans, and I will post my character name... ho hum... only another 4 hours for the patch to download...
