TGIF
This week has been an interesting beginning. I was so not-happy when we started it and now I'm ok. Last night work was funny. We had an in-service and had to perform CPR on pool noodles. Then, when I was back in the chair, a mom brought her baby in and was trying to get her to go into the pool. The baby - who was between 18 months and 2 years old - was not having any of it and refused to put on her life vest. Once the mom wrestled her into it, she got the baby onto her back and was swimming around with her. The little girl had this look on her face like, "OMGOMGOMG" and I was smiling because she was just soooo cute. When she got near me, she caught my eye and beamed back. And the final touch was that, as they were swimming away, I noticed her clutching the tie of her mom's swimsuit and holding it very much in the same way someone might the bridle (or whatever, the leather strap things) on a horse. It was hilarious, she looked like she was riding a horse (no offense intended to the mom.) Then today I did really well in math. I actually feel pretty good :)
Tomorrow we're going to IU's celebration of National Constitution Day and talking about Napster and downloading free music legal issues with college and public school students. I don't know why, particularly, but there's a free lunch and fun people are going to be there. So yeah, I'll talk to you cats peoples later.
