Being a senior is so much more complicated than I thought it was going to be. And it's so different from how I orginally imagined, in the area of how you feel about yourself and the people around you.
But you know what really toots my horn? FREE AFTERNOONS!!!!
I went to Borders yesterday when I was supposed to be working.
I'd drive myself to hysterical paranoia if I did it too much, but the freedom at my fingertips is enough to put me in a reasonably happy mood. That and having a car.
Aaaah *sigh of contentment* I think, despite the bullshit that accompanies being a senior and all the weird emotional things we're all going through, I can get used to this.
So far, anyway.
