Someone accused me of being to involved in my romantic life to update LJ, and so I just wanted to update and explain myself. See, I don't wanna be the sappy girl who just goes on and on about someone and has nothing else to say, and that's kinda what I was afraid I do. So I'll say I'm totally the happiest I've ever been with someone and then I'll move on to topics completely unrelated.
Like Thanksgiving and the 29 hillbillies I spent it with and the hippie spiders that all shared webs and my serial killer cousin. I met them in Tow on Lake Buchanan at this "resort" called Paradise Point, which I could not find, because it was a group of shabby shacks all mingled in with residential shacks. But I found it and went off-roading to park at my cabin. I'm glad I brought a video recorder, because without it my alternatives were fishing at a spider-infested, Catfish Charlie-smelling, dock out on the water or looking for seashells (which I did one night). Anyway, at the meal itself were about 30 people, four turkeys (3 fried), three hams, four dressings, 13 pies, two bowls of mashed potatoes, and random other side dishes. No one touched the salad I made. Not even me. I had one conversation with the lady who talks about nothing but illnesses and death. She's old. She called me over and told me something blah, blah, prostate cancer, blah, blah, allergies...at that point I spotted my cousin and asked her if I could ride her scooter. Scooted right off. Other than that, nothing too strange, except that I think my cousin who was mutilating spiders and fish might someday kill someone, and my other cousin who wasn't there is in prison.
The rest of the weekend was all right. I got to watch the game and read some.
Last night I went to a boring Bible study. See, I know the guys have discussions and such. The girls might too, but the only part I was there for was this tv sermon where they were taking notes. Maybe I'll give it another try. Last night after that, I went to a dance studio and learned how to country dance with Rigel. We'll be going once more before his company's Christmas party. Yay.
Good tidings of great joy.
