"Cherish the Memory" by Pocchari - doujinshi scanlation

May 11, 2007 00:51

Scanned this doujinshi for my friend who likes IchiHitsu. I did it out of my unconditional, semi-platonic love for her. ♥ ...And because I hope she'll reward me with well-written HitsuGin fic.

Anyway, it wasn't a pain at all (that one page with blurry text aside...) because I really love this artist. She even had some nice Hollow!Ichigo/Hitsu ( Read more... )

doujinshi: bleach, series: bleach, translations: doujinshi

*flips through own copy of kireru kodomo no ayashi kata* Eh? Does she name all her doujinshi the same thing? Mine has none of these stories.

But yeah, the art is love. *points to icon* And thanks for translating it, her text tends to be pretty blurry so I think it's really tiring to read. I think I have those hichi/hitsu pics saved somewhere. At least I saved most of her stuff maybe a year or so ago. Want me to upload them?

Yeah, my copy is a collection of stories and it includes that book (the MatsuHitsu and GinHitsu parts are so very *squee!* ♥). She used the same title for the whole collection. *sweatdrop*

I'm definitely taking advantage of your offer, when you have time. Thank you! ♥ Plus I didn't know she also did Hichi/Hitsu fanart, I only got to see the novels. ^^;

Sorry, I might have promised too much. I did save most of the art, I hope, although now that I think about it the art itself was only hichi/hitsu in context. I think. I'll look through my collection and upload it anyway, it's too pretty to disappear.

Any idea what happened to the site? And when? I've been poking around on sites that used to be affiliated to her, but not found anything.

No worries, I saved a lot of her pictures as well; I can send you those you don't have. ^^

Apparently her new address is:
http://pochapuri.web.fc2.com/
It seems she moved to Tenipuri and thought it was a good idea to also delete all her Bleach pages, darn her.

Brilliant -_-;;; I suppose she didn't want incriminating evidence of Hitsugaya-fandom, in case someone tried to black-mail her into doing lots of Ryoma-fanwork. Am I just biased, or was her art a lot better for Bleach?

I'll go through my archive soon, I promise. Then we can exchange art.

*hypocritically uses tenipuri-icon*

Hmm, it seems her coloring abilities have improved though. My Tenipuri knowledge is so poor that I recognize almost no one but Ryoma.

Well, I went ahead and uploaded what I had saved from her site. It really came in handy that I organize saved fanart by artist.
Here! ♥

Waaah. Arrancar birthday-party. How could I forget about that? *___*
If I found something not here, I'll upload it, k? Thanks so much. Damn, I organize by character. Artist is a better idea. I started out very small scale and it sort of spiraled from there.

Coloring, yeah, maybe it has. But her lineart was so beautiful and now it's just... not there.

His name's Gakuto. He's bouncy and red-headed and carries extreme aggression towards Eiji in Ryouma's team, presumably for also being bouncy and red-headed.

Hitsu in Aizen's Wonderland Hueco Mundo was such a great idea. I still hope Hinakins will do the great escape, with Hitsu consequently following her, getting captured and having to wear Lolly's those arrancar clothes. Extra points for him getting molested by Halibel.

I used to sort by character too. I decided it was about time to revamp them when the Hitsu folder reached 1000+ images and it took ages to load. Whoops.
