Summary: Things never always seem to happen the way you want it to, don't you think? You want to help get your friend together with his center of affection, but find yourself falling even harder for your own crush. As much as you want your friends to be happy, you can't say that for your own happiness. By helping them, are you making yourself feel better, or are you just making it worse?
A/N: The way this fic is written is mostly from Miyuki's POV. Plus, for conversations inside this chapter, it will follow color coding, which i will post up in the middle of the fic. Don't get confised okayy? Comment after reading ne. Arigatou.

Chapter 1
"Miyuki-chan! Where are you taking me?!" Kame was seen struggling under my grasp, protesting and trying to wriggle out of my hold. "MIYUKI!"
"Kame-chan, if you don't stop whining and screaming in my ear RIGHT this instant, I'm going to bring you up to the topmost floor of the school building and hurl you down. You know VERY well I have the strength to do so," that managed to shut him up.
"But Miyuki-chan, at least tell me why you're dragging me from our homeroom towards the homeroom block of the third years right before lesson. Please? You know very well we could bump into HIM," this time, he wasn't whining, he sounded nervous.
"You have no idea, what you just said might come true," I mumbled in a soft voice, which earned me a confused face from Kame.
Kame, he's what you'll call BEAUTIFUL, and I mean really. And you've heard me correctly. The brown orbs, the lips, the hair, THE FIGURE. If he were a female, he would bring glory to ALL of us. You have to trust me on that. His figure was slender, he had the looks. He even had the ATTITUDE. What's best, this beautiful guy i just described, is my BEST friend. Along with Ueda Tatsuya (better known as Tat-chan in my books) and Tanaka Koki. The 4 of us, we were inseperable. When you see me, you'll definitely find them with me. That's how close we were.
Now, Kame was STILL trying to wriggle free from me, which started to irritate me. Halting my footsteps, I turned, to see Tat-chan and Koki stopping 2 feet away from me. Knowing Kame, he would make my 'mission' much more difficult to accomplish, which was why I forced the pair to follow me, not that they would leave Kame and I alone anyway. "Koki, Tat-chan, a little help here please? Our dear turtle-chan is trying to escape. You know very well that if he escapes, I'll definitely give you hell," I said, a slight smirk playing around the corner of my lips. Knowing looks visible on their faces, Koki and Tat-chan moved forward to relieve me of 'guard-duty', with Koki gripping onto Kame's left shoulder while Tat-chan took hold of his right.
[A/N: Like I mentioned just now, color codes for respective characters. These codes will only be used when there is more than 2 people in a conversation. The same color codes will be used in the future,]
Koki: Blue
Kame: Green
Miyuki: Pink
Tat-chan: Purple
Jin: Maroon

"You know? You are one mean person Miyuki. Cut him some slack, he has the rights to know what will happen you know?"
"HEY! If I told him what I'm trying to do, there would be NO WAY IN HELL that Kame-chan here would even listen, let alone FOLLOW what I said."
"Koki, what Miyuki said is sort of true. Anyway, Miyuki, did you tell those 3 to meet us at the roof? I'm assuming that they got the message, or else you wouldn't be dragging Kame there right?"
"Ne, Tat-chan, have some faith in me will you, I left notes in their shoe-holes yesterday and told them to meet us there. I'm very sure they got the message."
"Wait! Chotto! What is going on? Those 3? 3 who?! Miyuki! What the fuck are you planning now?! What are you fucking trying to do?!"
"Oi, Kame. If you're going to keep up with the profanities and everything, you'll never be able to get dear JinJin to fall for you ne. But he'll notice you, because you will be screaming profanities everywhere. Tone down on the profanities ne?"
"Ehh?! What the?!"
That had Kame glaring at Koki, with the rest of us laughing. But before Kame could utter another word, Koki and Tat-chan gave his shoulders a push, a signal for him to move. That was because I had already began walking towards the back stairwell of the third year homeroom block. After 3 flights of stairs, we arrived at our destination. Upon reaching, Kame's eyes widen in shock. Then, he turned to me with a glare. All I could do was shrug.
"Miyuki, after this is over, I'm really going to murder you," hissed Kame.
"Yo, my dearest kohais, you do realize that you have 3 SENPAIS here? Why did you call us up to the roof? We're actually ditching class here, not that I mind actually," came a cheerful voice. That voice was the only one that always managed to make me blush ever so lightly. That voice could only belong to Yamashita Tomohisa. Said person is the ONLY one that can have me turning my head to look at him in 3 seconds flat, said person was the only one who could make my heart rate speed up. Lastly, said person is the one I kept engraved in my heart, even the tiniest details of him were etched inside my head. I couldn't help it can I? I have a crush on him.
There stood said Yamashita, with Akanishi Jin seated on a faulty table to his right, and Nishikido Ryo standing next to the table. It looked like as if Akanishi were some important person with Yamashita and Nishikido flanked at his sides as his bodyguards. And as usual, it was as if Tat-chan could read my thoughts, he turned to me and nodded, the corber of his lips twitching in amusement.
"Well, since the most important people of why I called for this 'meeting' *miming the quotation marks* are here, why not just let me get the ball rolling ne?" I was trying to hide my own amusement. When I received no objections, I continued. "My dear Kame-chan here *points at the still glaring Kame* likes Akanishi senpai *turns and points at an oblivious Akanishi*"
When he heard his name, Akanishi turned to face me, cocking his head slightly to his right, signaling to me that he did not catch what I just said. Plus, the way he looked at me made me want to laugh. From his face, you could only see one emotion flashing, confusion.
"Damn it, Bakanishi Jin, you didn't hear what our kohai said? Were you even paying attention," I could hear the irritation in Nishikido's voice.
"Erm, hold on. I haven't made any introductions yet right? If not you wouldn't be calling me kohai instead of my name, right?" I had to ask, they kept addressing us as kohais.
I saw 3 heads shaking.
"Sou. Sakura Miyuki desu. Tanaka Koki *points at Koki* is the porcupine there, Ueda Tatsuya *points at Tat-chan* is the one holding onto Kame's shoulder. And Kamenashi Kazuya. *points at a now resigned Kame* The main reason why the 7 of us are up here, at the roof of your homeroom building, is because Kame likes Akanishi senpai," Tat-chan and Koki were nodding their heads in agreement with my statement, while Yamashita and Nishikido looked at me then at each other with their eyes open. Only Akanishi seemed unfazed about what I just said.
"Miyuki ne? Don't call me Akanishi senpai, it sounds too formal. It's Jin *points at himself*, Yamapi or Pi *points at Yamashita* and Ryo. *points at Nishikido*" Yamapi and Ryo nodding in unison. Apparently, they didn't really like people calling them senpai, and now that we were slightly aquainted, they wanted us to call them by their last names, not by their first name.
"Hai~ Akani- Jin. Erm, Kame likes you."
"Ehh? Maji?" Now he was surprised, cause he sort of sputtered out that last sentence.
"Miyuki, could you get Tat-chan and Koki to release me now, I know you're afraid that I'll escape, I promise I won't. And are you done with embarrassing me?" Kame sounded defeated. When I nodded my head in reply to his question, Koki and Tat-chan loosen their grips on Kame's shoulders, and they allowed their hands fall to their sides. Yamapi and Ryo were having a whispered conversation behind Jin while the latter just stared at Kame in surprise.
Walking over, I tugged on Kame's shirt, asking him to move forward to where Jin was seated. "I'll leave the both of you to talk it out. You can kill me later if you want Kame, you know I won't stop you." Smiling, I left a gaping Kame with a still surprised Jin, walking back to where Koki and Tat-chan stood. I could see that the both of them were smirking. Calling out to Yamapi and Ryo, I motioned for them to move away, and leave Kame and Jin some privacy. Catching my signal, they walked towards me, and followed me to the entrance of the stairwell, where Koki and Tat-chan were waiting. But no one knew that placing by placing Tat-chan and Ryo in a somewhat shoulder-brushing situation, it could lead to a full blown quarrel. And the best part was, no one knew what went wrong. Because Tat-chan just simply just snapped.
"You midget, get away from me", growled Tat-chan, annoyance laced in his voice.
