Comics-Salon 2008 part 1
So this years Comics-Salon ended week ago, but I was too busy and too lazy to write about it.
It was fun I am looking forward to the next year.
This year I was promoted to be VIP member XD. Because they need at least 2 quests from each section and they picked out one guy and me from ANIME/MANGA section.
Ok lectures at first :)
I had 3 different lectures. One for an each day.
Friday: Manga vs. Internet vs. Morale
I talked about scanlations on the internet, history, downloading, what is bad about it, for what can we thanks to the scanlations etc.
Saturday: Otaku as the main character
lectures, but the main time I used showcase from anime/ j-doramas to demonstrate various sides of otaku in anime/ j-dorama.
Like fantasy vs. reality, how to control an otaku etc.
For some reason this one was the most success from all of my lectures.
Sunday: Manga Nonmanga - Practical guide through NonJapanese mangas
What is manhwa/manhua/Manhoa. History, works, authors.
OEL - Original English Language (manga)
Original works whom artists from Germany/Spain
and finally Slovakia ^__^ (I talked about mangabook)
I have got really good comments at my lectures on the CS questbook/forum, manga.sk forum and even on my DA account. Ok there was not so much of theme, but it made me happy anyway. The people in the audience were so nice and I think it is worth of the work, when I can make someone to laught or to learn something new.
Ok and now cosplay. This year I cosplayed Yuuko from XXX Holic.
The cosplay was handmade (including the necklace). I made it by myself and together with anyone who visited me during the time I was working on it. And special thanks to Saniika, who was so nice and helped me with the cut of the dress and another special thanks to Ettelie for dyeing my hair to black and for the nice cut of them :). Also thanks to Lady Oscar, who helped me when I was running out from time, HimeMia and Natsume to be Ame Warashi :) We did a group cosplay.

Ok at first: My hair are brown. Because of some ciscumstances (like cosplay of Sailor moon from the last year) the colour was something between blond and brown.

Before the next pictures I have to say: I normally dont drink beer. I dont drink any alkohol at all, only by special occasions. It was only because of the skit. Yuuko is an alcoholic. You belive me, right?
