About you
My name is: Marcy
Gender: Female
Because we do respect the lj code here, are you over 13?: Haha, by a long shot.
How has your day been so far? (Just curious): It was good! I got a haircut, bought a book, went out to eat, watched star wars, and am about to play Left4Dead :]

More about you
What are your hobbies/talents/interests?: Drawing, cosplay, making icons and such, tennis, swimming, spending time with my loved ones, cooking, reading, watching movies, playing videogames, and photography.
Give us 5 positive adjectives to describe yourself: caring/thoughtful, friendly, playful, easy-going, and adaptable
Give us 5 negative adjectives to describe yourself: indecisive, insecure, overly-passive, clumsy, and sensitive.
And what do you think your best quality is?: My kindness? I generally like to make the people I care about happy, and am pretty loyal and caring. Granted, I am not completely selfless and help EVERYBODY, it's just if I like you, I'm good to you.
And what is your worst?: Oh wow, um.. that depends really. My insecurities really start a lack of motivation in me which can turn in to a very long bad streak which I hate, but my overly-passive nature is also pretty bad. It can sometimes be a good thing, but I really hate confrontation and will go out of my way to avoid it, even when its necessary. That is unless you REALLY push my buttons.
What do you think draws other people to you?: My friendly and social nature. I get along with most people, and love to smile and just enjoy other people's company.

Your favorites
Books: The Thrawn Trilogy by Timothy Zahn (Star Wars books), Ella Enchanted, The Pact by Jodi Picoult (well, ANY book by her), Memoirs of a Geisha and..uuugh, umm... hard to narrow down. I'll just leave it at that for now, since it's what popped up first.
Movies: (I really love movies) Avatar, Star Wars, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Grave of the Fireflies, Ponyo, Howl's Moving Castle, Beauty and the Beast, Slumdog Millionaire, Batman, aaand yeah, gonna stop before my indecisiveness gets the best of me.
Music/bands: Breaking Benjamin, Three Days Grace, Linkin Park, Evans Blue, Paramore, The Veronicas, Kate Vogele, Gazette, TM Revolution, Mika Nakashima, Anna Tsuchiya, NEWS, Yui, Chevelle, Tatu, Rammstein, L'Arc-en-Ciel, Within Temptation... and I love game OSTs.
Animals: Dogs mostly
Quotes/sayings/lyrics: I like a lot, when I hear them. I rarely retain favorite quotes/lyrics.

Are you more...
Introverted or extroverted: I'm extroverted most of the time, unless it comes to my serious feelings. I keep those away for a few people. But I'm a very social person and like to talk to everyone, unless I hate you.
Confident or shy: Eh, neither/both? I'm not SHY, but I'm not completely confident. I'm a bit insecure, especially regarding my skills, but I know I'm not the worst and eventually I might get where I need to be - if not, I'll just have to find a backup plan and adapt.
Kind or selfish: Kind, even though it feels weird dubbing yourself that. I'm not selfless like I said before, I like giving and enjoy making others happy, but I give to myself too.
Optimistic or pessimistic: Optimistic for the most part. I'm not blindly so, I'm realistic and know some things just need hard work, or that they simply wont work - you must adapt. But I'm one of those people who just knows things will get better if you try.
Mature or immature: eh, in between? I'm not wise and super mature, but far from immature. I mean, I have my silly-immature moments, but I generally look at serious situations from a more mature standpoint.
A leader or a follower: I'm not much of a leader, I don't like being in control of others. I am usually a follower, but not blindly so. I am capable of stepping up and taking charge if I must, I'd just rather not. Takes too much effort and then people always judge you.
Impulsive or cautious: Completely situational, I approach a lot of things cautiously, but I can be very impulsive at times. Just depends on what I'm feeling I guess.
Disorganized or systematic: I'm all for organized chaos. I alphabetize my dvd and game collections, but tend to have a lot of clutter both around me and in my life. I'm a list maker though, I make lists to help sort through all the chaos and figure out what I want/need to do.

Mr. Miyazaki
First Miyazaki movie you saw? How old were you and did you like the movie then?: I believe it was Castle in the Sky, or possibly Princess Mononoke, I saw them both around the same time.
Favorite Miyazaki movie?: Howl's Moving Castle, very closely followed by Ponyo.
Least favorite Miyazaki movie?: Princess Mononoke, not to say I didn't like it, its just my least favorite so far.
Favorite character from a Miyazaki movie?: I don't want to sway votes.
If you could magically become one character out of a Miyazaki film for one day, who would you want to be?: Either Kiki or Ponyo. :]

Would you prefer a same gender stamp or all that's listed?: doesn't matter, I'm fine with whoever you see me as. :]
Anything else you feel like adding while you're at it?: eeeh...? this is far to open ended for my indecisive self to figure out what I want to say. Thanks for reading, and happy voting!
