new york on my mind
kekeke this week has been one hell of a crazy one...
it seems that our law grades are out and man oh man i feel so bad... i wish i was in the philippines right now just so i could talk to everyone... (maybe i'll save a post just for this)...
anyways, my friend jamie (who's been living in virginia) visited me for 5 days in new jersey... we had already planned on going to new york (we had tickets for les miserables), and to six flags great adventure...
anyways, we did go to all of these places... i'm actually not too keen on writing a lot because these past 2 days have been really sad (what with the grades and all)... so i'll just put random pictures... maybe next time i post something it'll be more orderly ^_^
this is in pier village in new jersey.. it's a newly built commercial area which has nice restos and shops... you can even go swimming (although it'll cost you 5 dollars)

our first ride was in log flume - it's a water ride, the same thing as log jam at enchanted kingdom... the only difference is that this ride hurt like hell because it seemed like it was stopping and creaking... my arms got sore.. keke good thing i didn't really get wet cos jamie was the one sitting in front keke.. notice how wet she is kekeke
jamie and i before the dolphin show... actually before we watched the show, we went on a cool ride.. el toro.. i think it's the longest wooden rollaercoaster (maybe) in the world... keke the cool part about it is that as we were walking to the line, 2 guys asked us if we wanted tp use their flash pass for that particular ride (a flash pass is a card that let's you cut in line.. so it's super effective if there's a long queue..) because they had 5 passes, and the 3 others they were with weren't there yet and they didn't want to waste their passes... so duh!! of course we agreed and saved ourselves more than an hour of waiting in line kekekeke!
i haven't really watched a dolphin show (or if i had, i was too young to remember it), so i was surprised that the dolphin show turned out to be a sorta play... the first animal out is squid, a super duper cute seal (why he's named squid i'll never know)... anyway, he was like the assistant to the assistant of the captain of the ship in the show... i want a seal!!
keke the dolphins were really cute!!! keke i was a little sad because my camera had such a slow response time that i couldn't really catch up with what the dolphins were doing, by the time they jumped in mid-air i had only caught them splashing back into the water... boo..
