Unusual Feelings Chapter 1

May 28, 2011 12:53

The manager was nervously pacing the small room, awaiting the others to come. He had never been this nervous when meeting his other bands, but this one seemed to strike something unpleasant inside of him. When he was told about this certain band, Johnny said that their ‘might’ be a feud between the band members, he said he wasn’t certain.
The Manager, Toshi, could tell he knew exactly that the members did not like each other. Maybe that was the cause of the horrible nervous feeling Toshi was feeling. The door suddenly creaked open, revealing a pale, handsome face and a lean muscular figure. The young man stepped inside wearily and carefully, not making eye contact with Toshi once.
Once he was inside the room, he quietly took a seat on the blood red sofa and looked up at the nervous manager.
“Um, hi.” He said. Toshi sighed with relief. He chuckled and moved towards the younger man.
“Afternoon, my name is Toshi. I’m your new manager.” Toshi smiled and put out his hand to the other. The other gratefully took it and replied:
“Ueda Tatsuya. Pleasure.” He shook Toshi’s hand and then continued to lie back on the couch, comfortably.
“So, how’s your relationship with the other members, Ueda-kun?” He said, trying to spark a conversation while getting, hopefully, valuable information.
“Um.. Not too bad. I guess. Never really talked to them to be honest. I only just danced with them.” Ueda said, quietly. Toshi just sighed a little and nodded. Taking his previous position beside the table, he impatiently awaited the other five to make their appearance. His thought was right on time as another figure entered the room.
This young man was tall, and had short brown hair and a bright smile. He stepped in front of the two and bowed graciously.
“Hajijemashite. I’m Junnosuke Taguchi.” Toshi watched the young man in amazement as he made his way to Ueda. “Evening, Ueda-kun.”
Ueda just glanced at Junnosuke and muttered ‘Hey’ and continued to look back at the floor. Junnosuke paid his short answer no attention, though, and took a seat beside him. He looked at Toshi.
“Oh. I’m Toshi, your new manager.” He shook Junnosuke’s hand and smiled at the other. Junnosuke just nodded his head with a smile and began to observe the room. The door opened with a loud bang, making everyone’s head turn to look at the intruder.
The person only walked straight to a chair and sat on it. When he finally looked up, he questioned the manager.
“Who’re you?” He said. Toshi tried not to seem angry so he acted nice to the ignorant man.
“I’m your manager Toshi. And you are?” He didn’t even bother trying to shake the boy’s hand.
“M’names Koki.” He simply said, and looked away from the man. Toshi ignored him, and sighed. Hoping that the next one to walk through the door would be as nice and cheery as Junnosuke-san was. The door was slowly and softly knocked on. Toshi squinted his eyes, and walked over to the brown door, and opened it, letting whoever it was in. There stood a young man, black hair, and a fedora hat on. He wore a white t-shirt, with big text over it, and a Britain-themed jacket over it. He had black trousers on, a line went up each side of his legs, and he wore simple black shoes. Toshi was simply stunned. The boy smiled at him, and looked Toshi in the eye, which was revealed to be covered in black eye shadow. The manager stepped to the side, letting the dashing man in, and slowly shut the door beside him.
“Hi, new manager, I assume. I’m Kamenashi Kazuya, but call me Kame.” He bowed slightly. Toshi stared at him, but nodded slightly, with a slow reply of his name. As Toshi was about to speak to Kame, they were interrupted by a man in simple clothes coming in.
“Hey, Nakamaru Yuichi.” He waved and sat on a chair beside the old couch. Toshi bowed politely and introduced himself. To be honest, to him, they weren’t that bad with each other. Then the last one walked in. He could feel Kame’s glare on the man, and he could feel its icy cold aura, even if it wasn’t directed at him at all. The unknown man, walked straight past Kame, chuckling at his appearance. Toshi awaited the man’s introduction, but no sound came.
“So, you are?” He said, staring right into the man’s eyes.
“Jin Akanishi. And you are?” He repeated the manager’s question, as if mocking him.
“Toshi. Your new manager.” He said, not bothering to do any kind of greeting to Jin.
