The Wrong Job
So, I got a job, sort of. Also another job.
The first was an ESL teaching job, or at least, that's what I expected when I walked in. What I walked out with was tentative negotiations for writing and editing. WHAT? Does this actually happen to people? Do they walk into one job interview and come out with a completely different job than what they were supposed to be being interviewed for?
The other was a Tutoring interview. The interview for that was more of a formality, because they wanted to hire me right off the bat. Most of the interview was spent with the guy persuading me that I should work with THEM. I really needed no persuasion, but hey, free coffee.
