A/N:  Hello my lovelies.  So sorry it took so long to update; so busy at school, then i got sick and to top it off i was in a car accident last week...but i finally got back to finish part six.  Please be patient as the next few chapters might be a bit slow, but they're comming. ENJOY! xoxo. miya. :)

I couldn’t explain the appearance of blood on Wooyoung’s back, he had been perfectly fine moments ago before his face started to a look of pain.  I lifted him from the bed and brought him to the bathroom running some hot water in the tub and slowly lowered him in washing away the blood from his back.  I tried to look for any marks but there was nothing.  After a few moments in the water he started to stir and slowly opened his eyes.

“Khun.”  He said so weakly as his eyes closed again.

“I’m here baby, I’m here.”  I said as I held him up in the water.

“I’m so cold.”  He started to say as his teeth chattered.

I couldn’t explain it.  The tub was filled with steaming hot water, how could he be cold.  I didn’t want to take any chances.  After being at war for so long you don’t take the message of being cold too lightly.  I quickly got into  the tub and wrapped my limbs around him, resting his head against my chest as his breathing started to fall back to normal.   I could feel his body start to rise and fall against mine and when his face wasn’t so painful but more peaceful I lifted him up from the tub and brought him back to the clean bed.  I dressed him in some pajama pants and a t-shirt and put on some clothes for myself too.  I inched into the bed not wanting to wake him and slid under him so he could lay atop of me.  He instinctively fit into the position, resting his head on my chest as my hand lightly grazed his back, drawing swirls all over.

“Khunnie?”  He piped as I was a bit surprised he was still awake.  I pressed my lips against his hair.

“Yes, baby?”  I asked.

“You have to promise me you’ll come back for me.”  He said.

“I’m not leaving you.” I said decided nothing mattered anymore, not the war, not my life - just Wooyoung.

“You have to, you have to defeat the Dragon King, you have to save the world, you have to save me.”  He said, his words were so full of pain and uncertainty, it started to hurt.

“But I don’t want to leave you….ever.”  I protested.

“You have to.  You have to save others too…I’ll be fine here….just promise you’ll come back.”  He said.

“If you want me to… I will… and of course I’ll be back for you…I love you Woo.”  I said and he started to look up and his eyes were full of tears. “Hey, why are you crying?”  I asked.

“Because I love you.”  He said and wiped his eyes.  I pulled him up to me so our lips could meet.  We kissed tenderly, he ran his tongue on my bottom lip and I held so close not even the thinnest piece of paper could fit between us.

He pulled away and yelped in pain.  “Wooyoung, what’s wrong?  Did I hurt you?  You seem to be in pain.”  I said as I massaged his back.

“I am in pain.”  He winced as he curled his body against mine.

“Where?  Tell me.”  I demanded and he just buried his nose into my chest as he started to scream.

“Wooyoungie, please tell me where it hurts.”  I started to worry.

“My head hurts Khun, make the pounding stop.”  He said and I wrapped my arms around him and held him so tightly as I could.

“What can I do to make it better baby?”  I whispered.

“I don’t know… it hurts to bad.” He said and I started to litter kisses all over his face and neck hoping they’d soothe him even just a bit.  Suddenly his body went limp and I couldn’t feel his heartbeat.

“Wooyoung!  Woo!”  I started to shake him but he wasn’t coming too.  I got up and started to give him mouth to mouth recesitation, as I breathed every gasp of air into his mouth.

“Oh no, no, no Youngie.  Stay with me.”  I begged.  I had gotten so used to trying to save the life of my men… I desperately wanted to save the life of my man.

Then his heart started to beat again, but faintly as his breathing came back.  I tried to wake him but he wouldn’t wake up.  I picked him up and held him close.  What was going on?  Was Wooyoung sick?  I wanted so bad to make everything better for him, I felt so hopeless.

The morning came and I awoke, my first thought was to check on Wooyoung who was fast asleep in my arms.  His faced had eased and he didn’t seem to be in pain anymore.  In fact when I nuzzled against him he gave a soft smile and whimper.

“Khun…”  He moaned and held onto my arms as I kissed the back of his ear.

“Are you feeling better?”  I asked and I felt his head nod. “Should I make you breakfast?”  I asked and he turned and kissed my lips.

“That would be nice.”  He smiled and I kissed him back then got up.  I went downstairs into the kitchen and it was still early so no one, not even Grandmother Jang was awake.  I went to refrigerator and pulled ingredients for a simple berry waffle.  As I began to cook I couldn’t stop thinking about Wooyoung, why was he in so much pain?  Was there something he wasn’t telling me?  The smell of the food must have been strong enough because soon I was joined in the kitchen by Taecyeon who sat at the table.

“Captain, I didn’t know you were a cook.”  He joked.

“I’m actually a great cook.”  I said and he chuckled.

“How was your night?”  He asked as if he was insinuating something.

“I should ask you… but by that silly grin on your face… it’s pretty clear.”  I replied.

“Yeah well… it looks like your silly grin.”  He replied and I tried to chuckle but the Wooyoung’s cries were still echoing in my head.

“What’s wrong?”  He asked me and I looked away.

“Nothing… just… there’s something wrong with Wooyoung.”  I said.

“Wrong?  Like what?”  He asked.

“He was crying last night…in pain…something about his head hurting… and after we had made love…he was bleeding.”  I said.

“Bleeding?  Was it his first time?”  Taecyeon asked.

“Well.. yes… but not like that.”  I blushed.  “He was bleeding from his back, as if someone was beating him with a whip.”   I replied.

“I see… that’s strange.”  Taecyeon  looked past me in thought.  “The dragon king… he uses whips… to torture his prisoners.”  Taecyeon said and I looked up.

“You don’t think…Woo was once his prisoner do you?”  I asked.

“How could he be?  He lives in the Untouched Village… these people have been in isolation all their lives… it must be his imagination - maybe someone’s told him stories and his mind and internalized them as bad dreams.”  Taecyeon replied.

“But the blood?”  I asked.  “How could be bleeding when there’s no wounds or scars?”  I asked.

Taecyeon kept thinking then looked up.  “I once read in a book that when people have such deep emotional scars that it’ll manifest physically even though there’s no actual physical explanation - like some sort of emotional phenomenon.”  Taecyeon said.

“So you think he’s been hurt before?”  I asked.

“Well his grandmother seemed pretty touchy when we asked about his parents.  Maybe there’s some really grizzly story to his parent’s death?”   Taecyeon suggested.

I thought about it, other than knowing the few things about Wooyoung, I didn’t know anything about his past.  How could I ever mend him if I didn’t know what broke him?

“There’s only one way to find out.”  Taecyeon summed it up.

“You’re right.”  I said.  I finished setting the platter, waffles with fresh berries and a glass of orange juice I had squeezed with my hands since they didn’t have any prepared and no juicer.

I walked back to Wooyoung’s bedroom and set the platter on the table, then sat on the bed and leaned down kissing my handsome on the cheek.  “Time to get up handsome.”  I said and Wooyoung let out a small chuckle.

“Five minutes.”  He said.

“No, now.”  I said buried my lips on his neck as I sucked on his skin for a moment.

“Khunnie, that tickles.”  He laughed till I felt his hand run through my hair and moved me so our lips touched.

“You taste like berries.”  He smiled.

“I’d rather taste you.”  I said licking the crease between his lips as he smiled.

“I taste like berries too.”  He smugly said and I nodded.

“You taste better than berries.”  I smiled.

“Where’s my breakfast?”  He demanded and I got up and laid the platter on his bed.

“My, this is a rather large breakfast…and you only brought one fork.”  He said observantly.

“We only need one.”  I said and sliced a piece the waffle and fed him.

“How does it taste?”  I asked.

“Good, it taste a little bit like you.”  He responded.

I fed him till he was full and I finished off what he couldn’t eat.  When we were both satisfied he got up from the bed and came up behind me and started to massage my back.

“Ooh baby, that feels so good.”  I moaned as his strong hands kneaded my aching muscles.

He kept massaging me and as he did I could feel my shirt start to lift up.

“What are you doing?”  I asked with a laugh.

“A massage always feel better when in contact with the skin.”  He whispered into my ear.

“Then hurry up and take off my shirt.”  I whispered back and he gladly peeled the shirt off of me.  He took of my shirt and ran his hands over my shoulder for a while, leaving a trail of wet kissed on my skin.  His kisses left my body tingling, wanting more. I motioned for him to move and soon he was sitting on my lap, his arms wrapped tightly around my neck as he exchanged passionate kisses between our hungry mouths, the remnant taste of breakfast still on our mouths and heat arising for our pressed bodies.

He pushed me onto the bed and straddled me, pinning my hands above my head.  I watched him as he removed his shirt then proceeded to pull down my pajama bottoms.

“Careful, I’m not wearing anything under these.”  I laughed and he smirked.

“I could tell.”  He said as his hand found my member and gave it a few tugs as it instantaneously became hard in his hands.  “Oh Captain, you are very excitable this morning.”  He smiled.

He quickly removed his own pajama bottom then lowered himself onto my member, I watched intently as his eyes winced and his mouth made an o.  The velvet skin against my member felt like heaven and I started to feel my eyes close too as he moved above me.   I rocked my hips upward meeting his own and soon, the room was filled with the sounds of soft moans and pants as I felt a bit of Wooyoung’s sweat drip onto my body.  I held onto his hip and helped steady his pace, not going to fast but certainly not too slow.  He reached down and rested his hands on my chest and opened his eyes, I looked into them and saw a bit of a glow, something I hadn’t noticed before - something even more mesmerizing about him.

“Khun.”  He moaned and broke my attention as he panted. “I’m close.”  He said and I put my hand on his member and began to pump him as his eyes closed again and he moaned.

“Oh my god…Khun!!’  He screamed and I grunted as I felt his dick twitch in my hand and the flow of juices released dripping all over my hand and my torso.  He kept moving waiting for my release and soon I felt myself twitch buried deep inside of him as I screamed.

“Woo!”

I opened my eyes and he sat atop of me with a smirk.

“I love you.”  He said as his lips came to meet mine. We kissed, both of us drenched in sweat, as his tongue flicked a sweat droplet on my nipple and I swore I could feel myself get hard again only to have it ruined by a knock at the door.

“I’ll be right there.”  Wooyoung said slipping his clothes back on as I tugged his hand back towards me with a pout.

“Come on get up.”  He smiled and threw my clothes at me.  He waited till I was dressed then opened the door.

“Junho.” I said as Junho stood at the door. He gave us a look but was panting as if he was running.

“Captain, we have a problem.”  He said in a panic.

“What’s wrong?”  I walked towards him as Wooyoung stood behind me and held my waist.

“Chansung…I can’t find him anywhere.”  He said and looked at me with sheer tears in his eyes.

“What do you mean?  Didn’t you share a bed… I mean room last night?”  I asked.

“Yes, I fell asleep in his arms... we had made love… but this morning I awoke to an empty bed.  I’ve checked every room this house, even the nearby markets… he’s nowhere to be found.”  Junho exclaimed.

I placed my hands on his shoulders.  “We’ll find him.  Don’t worry, we’ll find him.”  I said.

“Thanks Captain…”  He said and walked away.

“Where could he have gone?” I said out loud but more so for myself.

“Is he the type of wander off?”  Wooyoung said still clutching onto my shirt.

“No, he doesn’t go anywhere without Junho… they are battle buddies.”  I said.

“I see…”  Wooyoung said as he pressed his lips against my back.

“What’s wrong?”  I asked.

“Nothing, I just hate to see you so worried.”  He said.  I pulled him around and placed my arm over his shoulders.

“Don’t worry about me, I’ll be fine.”  I said.

“Still… you look so troubled…I hate it.”  He said with a pout.  I kissed him softly.

“The only thing that troubles me is whatever troubles you.”  I replied.

“All of this is troubling me.:”  He walked away.  “Chansung missing, the thought of you leaving…”  He wiped his eyes with the back of his hand.

“Chansung is fine.  He is a fine soldier, he’s just a bit…impulsive sometimes.  And me?  Don’t worry about me… I told you, I’m coming back for you.”  I said holding his waist and kissing his shoulder.

“I know… but I’m still scared.”  He turned and looked at me.

“I am too, but… you don’t have to be.  I promise I’ll keep you safe.   I promise I won’t let anything happen to you.”  I started to say and he pressed his lips against my cheek.

“You have to promise that you’ll keep yourself safe too, that nothing will happen to you too.  Because if anything happened to you…I’d die.”  He said.

“I promise Youngie, I promise I’ll live for you.”  I said.

We spent the rest of the afternoon looking for Chansung, combing every street and alley in the village and retraced steps into the forest.  It seemed odd, Chansung had this childish tendency to wander off but he was also one of the finest soldiers I knew - he simply wouldn’t have just taken off without saying a word.

The sun started to set and I could see the worry in Junho’s eyes intensify.

“I don’t get it.  Why would he just get up and leave like this?”  Taecyeon kicked himself.

I looked over at Junho and had to ask. “Did you two get into a fight again?”  I asked.

“No, I promise… we were fine.  We were talking about going home and getting on with our lives… he wanted to be with me and I wanted to be with him… I have no idea why he left.”  Junho started to tear and for the first time ever I put my arm around his shoulder.

“He’ll show up…he’ll get hungry and show up.”  I said as I lead everyone back to the house. I made sure to stick close to Junho and Wooyoung walked on the other side of him too.  Junsu and Taecyeon walked in front, Junsu had been entirely quiet the whole day - at first I thought it was because he was embarrassed by all the small touches and smiles Taecyeon was giving him but something seemed odd, almost as if he knew something that we didn’t.  We got back to the house and immediately Junho went to his guest room almost expecting Chansung to be there.  When he found the room empty he walked back into the kitchen and sank his face into his arms.

“Junho, it’ll be okay.”  Wooyoung said petting his hair.

Junsu looked down and made a small whimper, I couldn’t stand it anymore I needed to know what he knew.

“Taec, Junsu…can I talk to you in the other room please?”  I said and Junsu looked up with red eyes.  I walked over to Wooyoung.

“Baby, can you make sure Junho is okay?  I need to talk to the others, you’ll be okay right?”  I smiled and he looked up at me and nodded.

“Wait.”  He said and placed a kiss on my lips.  I smiled and followed Junsu and Taecyeon into the living room.

“Okay Junsu, you’ve been awkwardly quiet all day… you look like you know something, what’s going on?”  I asked.

“I don’t know…”  He said as he looked down at the floor.

“Did you see Chansung leave this morning?  Did he tell you where he went?”  I asked as I knelt down to see his face.

“No, I was with Taec all night and morning, I heard a small thud this morning in the bathroom, thinking maybe someone slipped - when I went in the shower was running and Chansung’s clothes were on the floor but no one was in the bathroom.”  Junsu said.

“That’s odd.”  Taecyeon said.

“So what you’re saying is he just vanished in thin air?”  I asked.

“I don’t know how to make sense of it.  But… it seems like it.”  Junsu began to tear and he looked at Taecyeon who could only hug him close.

“Well… there has to be another explanation…we’ll just wait.  He’ll come home.”  I said and started to walk back to the kitchen.

“What if he doesn’t?”  Taecyeon said stopping me in my tracks.  I didn’t have an answer, I had lost so many of my men already - losing Chansung at this point would be a loss too great.

“I don’t know.”  I said and walked back into the kitchen.  When I got there Wooyoung was standing alone at the stove starting dinner.

“Where’s Junho?”  I asked.

“He said he was tired and was going to take a nap.”  Wooyoung said.  “Is everything okay?”  He asked.

“I don’t know.”  I sat at the table and stared at the grain of the wood.  I hadn’t even noticed Wooyoung came up behind me and wrapped his arms around my neck.  He kissed me softly on the cheek.

“Don’t be sad Khun, please.”

“I’m not, I’m just worried.”  I said

“What can I do to make it better?”  I said.  I wanted to cry, here I was the Captain of an army and yet this man…who knew nothing about war wanted to make it easier for me.  I looked up and him and shed tears, my first in a long time.

“Hold me.”  I said and he held me till I felt the worry start to wear away.  By that time the others had joined us in the kitchen.

“Captain… it’s getting late… and we’re hungry.”  Taecyeon said.

“Of course.”  I said and got up and helped Wooyoung finish his stew.  We ate dinner quietly and all retreated to our rooms.  When I saw Junho walk into his room alone, I didn’t feel right to leave him by himself that night.  I walked in and sat on the bed beside him.

“Should one of us stay with you tonight?”  I asked.

“Captain, I’ll be fine.  Besides, I don’t think Wooyoung would like you sleeping with me.”  He smiled for the first time that day.

“No he wouldn’t.”  I chuckled.

“You really care for him don’t you?”  He looked up at me and I blushed.

“I do.”  I said.

“He’s a great guy, I can tell he’s madly in love with you.”  Junho said and I smiled.

“Is it obvious?”  I said and Junho just laughed.

“He won’t leave your side, he steals those small kisses…he looks at you like you’re the best thing that was ever created.”  He said.

“That’s funny because I think he is.”  I replied.

“That’s good… that’s how I feel about Chan.”  He said.

It got quiet again and got up to leave but didn’t feel right to just leave it at that.

“We’ll find him Junho… “  I said and he stopped me with a smirk.

“I know Captain.”  He said.

I walked back to Wooyoung’s room and found him sitting on the floor looking through a box.

“What are you doing?”  I asked and sat beside him.

“Looking at pictures of my parents.”  He said.

I looked at the pictures, Wooyoung’s parents looked so young holding him - they looked so happy.

“Your mother is very beautiful.”  I said.

“She was.”  He said with a bit of sadness in his voice through his smile.

“Was?”  I asked.

“My parents were outside refugees from the village…my grandmother isn’t really my grandmother but the woman who took them in.  We originally came from the northern kingdom, the same village as the Dragon King.  When he started to cause havoc in the kingdom my parents fled because my mom was pregnant with me.  They found this place and knew it was their only protection.:”  Wooyoung said.

“So how did they die?”  I asked.

“I don’t actually know if they died.  One day they disappeared, out of thin air.  The last person to see them was my grandmother, she said they were leaving to harvest more of the healing plant - my father was a doctor and he had discovered the plant years ago and it’s magical properties.  They never came back…some people say they were killed but no one actually knows.”  He said and began to tear.  I came closer and took him into my arms.

“I’m sorry.  I wish there was something I could do.”  I said.

“It’s okay, I’ve lived nearly half of my life without them - I’m sure if they wanted to come home they would have already… which makes me think they are dead.”  He said.

“No one would ever leave you purposely Wooyoung, you are far too precious to be alone.  I promise I won’t leave you like that.”  I said.

“I know.  But you have to do one thing for me, you promise?”  He asked.

“Anything.”  I said.

“You have to killt he Dragon King.”
