Ushers in theatres can't be too nice. They'll have to be as nice as some flight attendants: hospitable, but stern. Theatre extends its discipline even to its audience, and with the advent of digital camera and cellphones...it takes a lot to make them sit their asses down and pay attention. It IS a live show.
May there be a special place in hell reserved for people who complain about getting the last row in the theatre. Folks, either fork over money for premium seats, or just book a different date. You picked your seats, it's not our fault you're sitting on them. Now make the most of it -- Sit tight, turn off your phones, and shut up.
