a lesson to.. not get attached to our rock stars? Don't care what they do to themselves and don't put extra expectation on them to be invulnurable either?

Cause like, what I saw was this video was trying to send a message to the Japanese fans about the world. Supporting nationalistic ideas that the outside world is scary and demanding and impossible. Clumping the entire world, other than Japan, into a big scary ball of foreign. And who knows, maybe that's what Miyavi really feels.

I REALLY hoped that this tour would have more videos of him going around and seeing where he was. This was like strictly tour business. And totally overdoing it too. Maybe that's why he like rehired people at Jglam when he came back home and got better. Why I'm disclaiming this in public? Because I am part of a music-business-job-finder newsletter and they were on it like a week and a half after he came back, and they were hiring for like 5 or 6 positions, from international promoters, to artist managers, to web designers, to general staff. The qualifications were set so low that ANYONE could've applied for it. It's already public news in that sense, and it doesn't take a genius to put the two events together. So fuck all you guys who'd shake your fingers at me for saying this here (not talking to you Steff XD I know you wouldn't care). It's NOT confidential info :P

blah I'm done with this XD

I probably should have applied on a lark for that graphic designer position...

I can rock that shit if I have to...

Also the world outside of Japan is a big scary ball of foreign. the world outside of ANYONE's home country is like that.

But that's what makes it amazing ^_^ It's sad that Japan paints it in such a negative light. And yes, I see your point that the video is going to hit jp fans really badly....but to be fair I have a hard time keeping just japan in focus that way. I'm more likely to think from inside the big ball of scary, and from that perspective, it's still really sad to know that too man people on this side DON'T think about the people they claim to "love so much".

And of course we should get attached to them. I guess it all comes down to different kinds of love an obsession though. I know you, and I, and Stevie and pretty much everyone I know is part of the group that thinks "How can you love someone and not want them to be happy and healthy?"

well I think that in most other countries - or at least in the US... - other countries are still like unique from each other, some are less scary than others. But in Japan it is like they clump them all into this sort of scary image. It's almost like black people are American, white people are American, no matter what country they're actually from. Then there's India, and other Asian countries that could be anyone's guess. (Then there's the whole 'If you're white they'll treat you like a dumb rude American, and then you tell them you're from Canada and they suddenly become your best friend!' Like sorry, but when you're talking about individual PEOPLE (not the government) Canadians and U.S. Americans are not that different from each other.) There's that, and other stuff. That's the kind of image I get. There are only some people who actually see differences and even less who have interest in them.
