Well I think the tone of the interview was designed to make it sound horrific. But if you take everything the guy says at face value, it's not so bad. The guy himself said many times that people getting blacklisted or basically whoring themselves out, is actually a rare situation.

I wrote in the comments under the name JRM. Like I said in there, most of these boys don't have any need to complain. The record labels provide everything they need not just to live but to succeed at being a rock star. The only setback is that they don't get to have girlfriends (or at least not be public about it), and by the time they're older and actually mature enough to have a real steady relationship with someone, they're kinda too old to be pop/rock idols anyway so it's not that big of a deal.

Like.. if you have a dictator that's controlling all aspects of your life, but you have everything you need and want, then very rarely would anyone care about the lack of freedom. I would probably be one of those people who would care, and I could see Miyavi being the same way, but most of the other people out there are probably fine with it. However, I do think PSC is probably a little more on the stricter side of things.

Like yeah... I think it's just as bad as he said it was - but that's just it, it's not that bad. Only rarely is it that way. And it's not surprising that most of the people in the business are ex-gang members and stuff XDD Remember Miyavi himself was like "oh yeah I freaked out when my friend randomly died in Hokkaido and then went to Tokyo to become a rockstar..." Like why the hell else would your friend, from Osaka, randomly be found dead in an alley in Hokkaido? XDD Miyavi's probably the worst liar, the worst guy to interview. Like he'll spill and then totally FAIL at covering things up.

"Oh yeah! Melody and I were engaged in May 2008, blahblah ^_^"
and... when did you have your interview on her show again?
"....In May.....um.. IT WAS LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT?"
Ah ok I see. And her baby just happens to be due 9 months after you first met! WOW that's some powerful fate going on XD

But it's ok, you konw? This sort of thing happens to people a lot and some even end up in great long lasting relationships. Just because it started abruptly doesn't make it bad, you know? Judge not, lest YOU be judged. That's what I think. Live and let live, and judge not an other's way of living.
