I feel like time always fly faster 2nd half of the year after August. And it is already the second week of November!
We had alot of activities this past weekend!
Shaobao
Saturday morning we brought Bao to
Kent Ridge Park, our first time there. It's a small little park on a hill linked to Mount Faber and Hortpark, but we didn't walk that far since I had Stand-Up Paddling planned for the weekend.
Stand-Up Paddling
My second Stand-Up Paddling with mayu, Han and Angie. We kept to groups of 2 since there are still restrictions to keep. But it felt safer out at sea since there are more of us to watch out for each other. We booked 2 hours from 3:30-5:30pm.. it was freaking hot.. so we are likely going to stick to mornings in the future.
After that we went to
Sand Bar to enjoy the sunset and dinner. Food was good and the evening sea breeze was perfect.
和太鼓体験
JETAA organized a Taiko taiken workshop at
Hibikiya on Sunday. I've always wanted to try out Taiko and it was really astounding hearing and feeling the vibration. The drumming was easy to pickup and I really enjoyed the 2 hours workout. This was the day right after my SUP, so it was like adding more aches to my already aching arms and legs from SUP, but super good exercise.
Food
I had booked for the Taiko session with YW, so we went for lunch at a near by Thai eatery
Jai Thai. We've never been there and just walked into it, and the food was amazing. I'm now dying to go Thailand lol
カツサラダうどん my 2nd attempt at making Kyushu university's famous katsu salad udon. Turned out even better this time~
