3 Days!

I have 3 Days to go home!!

It is almost time for goodbye to Japan. Goodbye to the plum blossom, goodbye to the snow-capped Mount Fuji I get to see on my way to the train station on clear days. Goodbye to the clear blue skies that are not visible in Singapore because everything is high-rised. Goodbye to the trains and train tracks whom I've always loved because we only have subways in Singapore. Goodbye to the wonderful politeness of the service industry and well-stocked conbinis. But yea I have enough of Japan for now. I might be back one day maybe after 1-2 years, on short trips, but for now it's time to say goodbye and find a new adventure elsewhere~

Everything's packed or shipped - saved for the clothes and items I'm still using for these last few days. I can't wait to go home~ 彼 is waiting at home with me~ Hope to spend more time with my parents and mayu too~

The shipping company came to pick up my stuff on last Wednesday, and I'm shocked to say I sent 2 boxes by air, and 12 by ship... Granted 1 box was a Kotatsu, another was a full-length mirror, another was an ironing board, and another was a Futon, but even that I'm shocked I still have 8 boxes full of stuff lol. It's more than double of what I accumulated in Hokkaido or Kobe... ;x

Final Fantasy Exhibit

FINAL FANTASY 30th ANNIVERSARY EXHIBITION-別れの物語展-! Square Enix has totally outdone itself ;x

[別れの物語展]別れの物語展

High tech.. each visitor is given an iphone and sony headphone attached. Near each Exhibit, it would automatically play an audio regarding the exhibit.

Buster Sword & FFX

No surprised, FFXV dominated much of the exhibit.

Before entering Noctis and Lunafreya's wedding ceremony

Each portrait (except sleeping noctis and lunafreya) speaks their thoughts and well wishes for the couple

Wish there is a lifesize Hraesvelgr

FFVII Aerith's church

After that went for lunch at the collab cafe. Was given a super nice seat that offers a view of Tokyo Tower and Odaiba~

Potion drink. Apple flavor~

Chocobo Omurice~

A walk around Azabu, Tokyo & Yurakucho
After the exhibit, I walked to Azabu which is just a few steps from Roppongi Hills. Azabu is one place I always wanted to visit, because of Sailormoon!

Sailormoon happened here! The mangaka Takeuchi Naoko lived around the area and always claimed to love the place in her afterwords. And I could totally see why. It was a really beautiful little town.

The place has alot of small quaint shops.. passed by this croquette shop and had to buy one coz of KinKi Kids~

I can imagine Makoto wanting to open a shop along the street because there are just so many cute little shops along the road.

Tokyo Tower visible. Mamoru probably lived in the high-rise apartment on the right? lol

After that popped by Tokyo Station to buy sumikko kurashi that mayu wanted.. tried out their cheese tart. Looks cute taste ok~

Last stop of the day Manhanttan Express cafe at Yurakucho to say farewell to the Master and Lady before I go home for good. It has been approximately 10 years since I travelled down from Sapporo to do my research on Takarazuka and Master was kind enough to introduce the fans to me so I could conduct surveys and interviews. Didnt stay long to chat as they were busy but got a bunch of wonderful cookies as always!

Nozawa Onsen Snowboarding

Ros came to visit, and we went snowboarding overnight at Nozawa Onsen. It was a horrible trip because 1) She started having this snoring problem since last year and had promised to bring a tape that was suppose to tape her mouth together so she wouldn't snore. But she coudn't find it, as a result I only got to sleep 2 hours. 2) She had a cold and the infection passed to me. Basically the 2nd day I was like a sick zombie and didn't feel comfortable to snowboard because I was feeling so exhuasted and unable to focus. 3) We have very different pace and it isn't enjoyable when she keeps pushing me to go for difficult slopes that she enjoys. Thus to sum up, I am pretty much never ever going on a snowboard trip with her alone again, and never sharing a room with her overnight again.

Nozawa Onsen Ski Resort itself is not that big, the beginner slopes area really very beginner friendly but the intermediate slopes are really high intermediate, almost advance ;x

Our boards. My last ride with this board. At the end of the trip, I sent it off to Tomoya.
