i'm flying out (JAPANESE)
Current mood: hopeful
Oh man, I've been so busy, but I'm going to the US today!
I'm writing this in the car on my way to the airport.
Yesterday, on April 8th 2009, I official began my company J-glam Ltd.
We're moving ahead, step by step. Soon there will be a new Miyavi-esque site called 'myv382tokyo.com' opening. Until it goes up, I'm going to be writing both my Japanese and English messages here.
So I just want to announce to you all again:
On March 14th, 2009, melody and I got married. And this summer we'll be having a baby.
First off, I want to take this spot to apologize from the bottom of my heart for the huge nuisance I caused the media, my fans, and all of the people involved.
The process I went through making the decision to have a family make me realize so many things. It taught me all over again just how important it is to face people honestly, and how noble it is to love your family and your friends.
Just like the right to love and be loved belongs not to one person, but to everyone, happiness doesn't belong only to us.
I want to be happy, and I want our happiness to allow us to share happiness with the people around us. That's the kind of family I want to build.
To all of melody's fans, thank you so much for your warm support. Please continue to support her.
All I wish for her, both as a mother and as a woman, is that her life will be full of hope, and that she is able to fly high even higher than before.
Up until now, I've been a rock star and I've done all kinds of unbecoming things, but
But I will put everything I've got into my job. And at the same time, as a man, I will protect my family for my whole life. This is the vow I made from the bottom of my heart.
And as the partner of the artist you have supported all this time, I will do my best, and work hard, so that I become a man that you will all accept.
And to all my Komiyavi,
I'm so sorry. And thank you all so much.
I've got even more I want to protect now, and difficulties may lie in store, but the 'I LOVE YOU' I screamed out at the world on my World Tour is just as unsullied now.
No matter what anyone says, I'm going to keep on screaming it out just the same as I always have, as the artist Miyavi.
I'm sure I've still got a lot to learn as the president of J-glam too, but it would make me so happy if you would all watch over me with warm hearts.
