Mononoke
A while ago.. maybe a year ago I watched an anime called Ayakashi which is a series of japanese classic horror stories. It was during this time when I was into the whole traditional shit that I was looking up old stories and legends on wikipedia. Ahem anyways, the third part of the series is the one worth watching although I enjoyed all of them. <3
Mononoke is a continuation. I guess the third part of the series was so successful that they made an anime all about it. The main guy is only known as the medicine man and omg he's hot. Ahem. But he doesn't exactly do much. It's mostly about these stories based on ghosts/monsters (basically grudges that haunt stuff). If you can keep up with some surreal twisted fast-paced shit it's fuckingly awesome. I love the style of the animation.
