In which I'm BACK
Hello guys!
I'm sorry I've been off LJ for so long, I feel so bad about that. I'm sure I've missed a lot of thing in the last, -gosh!- couple of months, so feel free to leave me links to things I should read/look at/know about.
Today, I've just finished my exams. If I pass them all alright, then I'll have my Bachelor's degree in hands very soon. I'm starting a Master's degree in Translation in September, which means I have quite a lot of important decisions to make this Summer, but enough with the boring stuff.
I believe last time you heard from me (except if you happenned to be on Twitter on the rare occasions I stopped by) I was about to go visit sarah_umi in Scotland. I did, and it was awesome, and way too short, and I have photos if you're interested. :P
I have moderation duties to go back to, and things to write and icons to make for charity, and stuff. I hope to get on with it soon, though my muse seems to be gone on vacation lately. :/ I'll have to make her come back I guess. :P
Also, I'm having huge connection problems at home. Again. I'm at uni right now to type this because I'm afraid that when I come home I'll only be able to access the web for a few minutes at a time, which is not cool. Father Unit is supposed to call our Internet provider, but he doesn't seem in a hurry to do so.
Oh, did I mention that I MISSED YOU GUYS?
In other news, I have quite a lot of travelling planned. As I've mentionned before, I'll be in London for a few days in July, with sarah_umi and musardine. We're going to see Much Ado About Nothing with David Tennant and Catherine Tate, and the Betty Blue Eyes musical. We'll also stop by the Doctor Who Experience. In September I'm meeting up with some friends I met while in New Zealand: we're going to Berlin. At some point I'll go back to Scotland because I promised to, and finally, more importantly: I'M GOING TO ROME FOR JIB CON!
I'm so excited about that! Not only will it be my first con (and with all the Team Free Love actors, at that!), but I'll also get to meet people I love: enchantersnight (who offered to share a room with me :D), morganoconner and peppervl! I'll probably be flailing around about it for the next ten months. ^^ So. Awesome. Since I can stay after the con (classes...), I'm planning on getting there a few days early to do some touristing, so if anyone wants to visit Rome with someone who speaks Italian... Just saying. ^^
Okay, I'll be heading home now, hoping against hope to find a working Internet when I get there. In any case I'll find a way to get a connection, somewhere, somehow, don't worry my lovelies. ;)
