me ranting about people ranting lol
SOOO Kanjani is releasing their BEST OF album with a bunch of old songs from their past (with one new song) for a total of 23 songs plus DVD's
And I've seen a lot of complaining, be it tumblr or twitter, about all this
I don't know, but this really bother's me.
yeah it's expensive (it's ALWAYS expensive, what's new?)
and yeah it's a bunch of songs we already have
but stop complaining already
You've already decided from the very begining if you were going to purchase the album or not
And who's to say they aren't going to release other stuff (meaning new stuff, like a compilation of PV's or a bunch of new B-Tracks or whatever) for their 10 year anniversary??? (remember guys this is only their 8th)
I know you're the consumer so you have the right to say what you want to say
And you're probably mad that this is only a way to get money
Well, you're probably right. Yes, this is just taking our money and giving little back (which I don't really think so in the first place)
But what band doesn't do that?
It's going to happen at some point or another
And if I remember correctly, at 8sai events they held a poll about which songs fans wanted to hear, and they were ALL very old old songs
Kanjani were even surprised themselves at the results (And I think it was Yasu who was joking as he said "Maybe we should change our setlist")
So based on that, I'm sure they really took to heart what they thought the fans really wanted
Coming to the end of my rant, either give in and buy what they're releasing, or don't
Plenty of other people are going to give in to the "Kanjani Money Machine" simply because they want to collect, and really enjoy having Kanjani's merchandise
I'm one of those people, happily going broke because I want to be able to have the album and dvd in my own hands
Complaining isn't going to change anything unless you start some petition or something and send it into JE or Kanjani or Teichiku or whatever
And if that day ever comes I'll glady go and sign it with you
