Since the captures for my Gilmore Girls project for i_episode wouldn't work with me, I figured I had to get my mind off of that for a while. And since I found myself a new obsession it wasn't that hard to get creative again. I really was on an iconmaking spree again, if you can call it that. Hope you guys like some of these icons

Wow, you´re seriously on a creativity wave, aren´t you? Because your icons just get literally better and better lately and that in such a short amount of time. I can´t even describe how much I love so many of these, it´ll be so hard to pick only a few and besides, it´s seriously mean of you to post icons without warning me since I just renewed my userpics ^_^. But I don´t mind, WOOT. *does chicken dance*

First of all I OBVIOUSLY love the VL icons. I am serious when I say that your icons have to be of the best quality all around and it´s so refreshing to see you use other captures and scenes of this series than anyone else does. So far, the majority of the Ollian icons around LJ didn´t do much for me but icons like 1, 2, 3, 12, 13 and 14 just beautifully bring the feelings across, you capture their chemistry together. I love the coloring in 1 and 2 so much and the repetitive use of the image in the latter just seems so fitting, I love that you shifted the cropping in both caps so it feels like 2 different scenes that follow shortly after another. Great texture use in 3, it reminds me of the color of the water in swimmingpools for some reason. Yeah, my weird associations, lol. And well, what can I possibly say about 12 to do its justice? I love the simplicity and especially the cropping so much, it´s neitehr under- nor overdone but exactly right and I´m in love with this scene so much. It´s amazing how different 13 and 14 turned out with the same cap, I love your texture use and cropping in both. And 16 and 17 are just adorable for words, really ♥.

I have no words how much I´m in love with 18-22. It feels like you developed in your iconmaking in your entire post which is strongly visible in these mentioned examples for some reason, at least for me. It´s still you but like even more awesome. Lmao. I so want to use 18, the coloring is breathtaking, the cropping is great and the text fits perfectly and I keep catching myself staring and feeling the emotion in it. The same goes for 20, really, and 19 has an amzing clear and crisp quality, her hair looks so gorgeous. I wouldn´t have though that 21 could work that way but you totally made it work. It´s fantastically insane and creative in a way without seeimg awkward or too constructed. 30 is also a beautiful icon, I love the white space at the left side and your daring crop.

You definitely should make more stock icons. I admittedly usually don´t like stock icons that much because most just look pretty to me but don´t convey any feeling. Yours do, though, especially 38, 31, 41 and 40. 38 is my favourite, I love the overall scene and your coloring generally has this autumny feeling to it, such as shades of red, brown and orange, kind of earthy colors in a way and it fits the most to this season. Lmao at 42, it´s hilariously beautiful, why does she have a flower as her face? ;D

I'm so glad to hear you say that you feel I get their chemistry across as I just really wanted to capture that. Or well not that perse, but you know, really them and these moving scenes. So I'm glad you think that I succeeded in that. And lol I love that you notice about 2 that I cropped them slightly different; I really wanted to go for that and actually the way you describe that icon is the best descritption of what I wanted to go for, lol. And I love you ♥

You know what I'm most happy about? That I finally managed to make that picture in 18/20 work. You have no idea what a crappy picture it is in a way and I tried iconing it and this time it just came to me. Maybe I wasn't ready for it before ;) I'm so glad to hear the response about it, to be honest. I'm so glad to hear you think my stock icons convey feelings. Granted the ones that you pointed out are more fashion than just stock and there's obviously way more feeling in fashion; it's so fun to icon that to be honest. Haha and about 42; I have no idea; it's a pretty summer-y shoot and I found that picture to be quite cute for some reason. Maybe it works better as a picture than an icon though ;)
