What a Long Strange Trip it’s been

12/21: Party at Katie Sullivan’s house. It was probably the best holiday party of the season. I had some great convos with her friend Alex, and Andy M. Also, a highlight was the bob Dylan sing along starring yours truly and some unexpected guests, the Sullivan bros. Also, I got a great book from Katie titled : Sex, Drugs, and Cocoa puffs.
12/22: Spent most of this day in traffic and hungover, what a great combo! Finally got down to Delaware around 8 for dinner and gift exchange with brother Drew and his wife Kate.
12/23: Very chill day, stayed inside, watched football, read my book and caught up on relaxation after a very busy 10 days.
12/24: Hit the mall for some last minute shopping, picked up a sweet courd blazer. Wrapped up some presents while watching Home Alone. It had been a while since I had wanted to see it, but the movie holds up well. I found it funny that a lot of other people did the same thing this season.
12/25: Opened up some gifts. The highlights being a framed poem my dad wrote, accompanied by cds of Sinatra, Dino, Perry Como, and Nat King Cole. My sister furthered my Dylan voyage with the DVD Don’t Look Back. I Made my way up to my aunt’s house for our usual family gathering. My cousin and I did a rousing piano/guitar collaboration of Across the Universe and Wild Horses….Great times
12/26: Hit Sports Authority and picked up a few items, saw Walk Hard ( 6/10 on the Dave scale), went to Fridays for drinks with bro Scott, his girl Jess (bartending) and his friend Sal.
12/27: Went to NY to visit Brad and Diego, Saw Spamelot (which Brad was in) and then went to this great secret cocktail lounge where we drank with Bob Saget. HAVE MERCYYYY
12/28: Saw I am Legend (4/10…just don’t) in NY with Diego, then went up to Boston for Fran’s holiday party. Corey, my director from Full Monty, and I bonded over some Bye Bye Birdie memories, sang and played Piano, then made my way over to the gang at the Tavern at Porter
12/29: Organized the house, bought some bins at Target, then watched the Patriots go 16-0 while eating way too much dip. I also exchanged gifts with the roomies and watched Pee-Wee before falling asleep
12/30: Watched some football, then saw Juno with Katie and Caitlyn. We then got pizza, watched some old tv shows then stopped by at BFF’s but too late in the night forgetting that some people worked the next day
12/31: Tried working out at Balley’s (3/10 on Dave Scale), finished up Season 3 of the Office, went out to dinner with Jo, Brain, B nutz, Brady, Katie, then got drunk and drunker at Joanna’s sweet New Year’s Eve party….One highlight will be the Lost Season 4 preview: (10/10) WE HAVE TO GO BACCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCKKK!!!)
1/1: Officially deemed the worst day of the year Played a long game of Trivial Pursuit and slept a lot. .
Overall a very busy 11 days off!
