i'm sitting in the library and all i feel is loneliness. :( oh, and coldness because apparently there needs to be air conditioning when it's in the 50's outside.
english was nice today. we had to do these lame punctuation exercises in groups. i was in a group with three other girls. one is still in high school, the other two graduated this past june. i actually got involved with them today and opened up more than usual. we talked about project runway, top model, designer handbags, where we went to high school, how well we did on our papers (i got a 95%, btw. pretty good for a three page paper done two hours before class when i was half asleep). it felt nice to be included in something. we were the last four in class. everyone else rushed out while we stayed behind for a few extra minutes to talk amongst ourselves and with prof. rowland.
someone finally emailed me back...with a positive reply. i am so happy. :3 i hope this happens. it's exactly what i need.
i just used the word dirt in a serious matter. i hate slang.
i'm going to go find some warm dinner for five dollars and then it's time for my last and most boring class. woo. -_-
edit: as i was walking out of the library, i was absolutely surprised to see stephen colbert's book displayed on the shelf. i definitely did not think hcc would get that in, especially so soon. so, of course, i checked it out. i can't wait to start reading it.
