busy, busy busy
Have not written for awhile here.
Things have been hectic - I finished a HUGE amount of freelance work for one place, and am almost done with another batch from another. It will be a relief to have it behind me - and even more of a relief when the checks come in (trying to use freelance money to pay down credit card debt and save up for a laptop - a good laptop).
A friend is supposedly in town, he said he'd get here on Monday and call when he got in. I haven't heard from him and his cell goes straight to voicemail. I emailed his sister and haven't heard from her. I'm not worried - yet, just concerned. It'll be good to see him.
I'm going to finish off this last bit of writing, print it all out and get it in the mail, then go to the grocery store and get some food (I'm starved, but promised myself I wouldn't eat until this is done...)
then I'll be home, in pj's and veg in front of the TV for a couple hours. hope something good's on.
Tomorrow evening, I'm giving a lecture. I hope people show up.
