Wow, general classes at school have now been officially deemed behind me, well just behind me for a week of spring flinging. After said fling I will be returning for the final countdown. I have 9 full months of full on medical technique education left and I will officially stand as the proud recipient of an Associates Degree in Applied Science as ( Read more... )

Yes I will. I will be responsible for handing the instruments to the surgeon and keeping everything sterile from start to finish.

and will you be handing him/her the instruments with eyes averted? because that's about the only way i would ever survive doing that job. i'm a chicken.

There will be no averting the eyes on this show...I will have a front row ticket and will be hands on or hands in if required. I live for the "rush", otherwise I would probably be a chicken too.

I am so happy for you! The closest I ever got to a surgery that wasn't on myself was assisting the vet when he spayed my cat. But I have to say, I found it fascinating.

Hopefully, when all the studying is done, you'll have time to tell us stories.

Lots and lots of stories. I have always be fascinated with anything medical, love all the shows, enjoy the squishy talk and enjoy the rush it gives me to help heal someone.
